are we still talking about G/S? you can grab a geodude early on and they learn rock throw at 11. but faulkner's mons are only 7 and 9, so i'm not sure you even need to worry too much about type advantage.

If you do decide to build a Linux gaming rig, I recommend getting an AMD gpu. They have much better compatibility and it will save you some headaches
