This is simply not true. The 79 cents statistic is an average of men versus women, but NOT for the same job. Adjusting for things like differences in jobs, there is still a gap (which is a problem), but it's very small.

Credit card companies only do things that are profitable. If they lost money on the rich, they wouldn't do it. Predatory practices on the poor are unconscionable, but the problem is lax regulation, not subsidies to rich people.
