That's what I thought too, but grok, Gemini, and ChatGPT all know what it means.

I hope it comes up in a defamation case.

If Trump gave Baron a business interest without filing a gift tax return and paying the taxes, he's guilty of tax fraud. Lock him up!

I've found that generally, if you pick a puzzle it has seen hundreds or thousands of times, it has trouble with any answer except the one it has seen thousands of times already. Not such a weird bias.

A few days ago you posted that cash in money market funds is at an all time high. It seems strange that both money market casg and equity percentage would max at the same time? Any thoughts on why? People avoiding long term debt?

It's a mainstream idea, but a dumb idea. Either way, crypto is too easy to steal, too easy for money laundering, too easy to use for drugs and ransomware, and also not private enough.

We keep saying that every accusation is a confession, but it's wild that accusing Abrego Garcia of being in MS-13 is actually a confession of Trump working with Bukele working with MS-13.

Weirdly a guy who runs a lot of hotels and golf courses wants to make an exception for illegal immigrants who work in hotels and golf courses, I wonder why.

This is simply not true. The 79 cents statistic is an average of men versus women, but NOT for the same job. Adjusting for things like differences in jobs, there is still a gap (which is a problem), but it's very small. www.usatoday.com/story/opinio...

mmr vaccinations in Texas actually increased after the recent outbreak, so you may be right.

You're right. Idiocracy only grossed $500,000 at the box office, though it did another 9 million in DVD sales.

It's important to remember that right wing terrorists are the biggest threat in America. Maybe they don't want someone competent in charge.

Read the Atlantic article, and it's disappointing - some barely interesting anecdotes that don't really say much.

Trump also backed out of the TPP (trans Pacific partnership) trade deal, and now he wants to negotiate something similar, except he pissed off all our trade partners. He thinks an idea is only good idea if he came up with it.

Besides writers using AI, users are getting more answers from AI instead of web searches - so a company like Business Insider also has less web traffic driving revenue.

He killed 300,000 kids according to the NY times. I don't think that disavowing Trump will be enough to rehabilitate his image. Oh, and he's a drug addict.

I don't believe anything Musk says, but all of his recent forays into politics have been a disaster. Maybe he learned his lesson?

You're oversimplifying - it wasn't just downers. He also had Adderall (an upper), magic mushrooms (a psychedelic) and ecstasy (an empathogen). He likes to mix things up!

Don't forget about Alex Acosta, Trump's first term secretary of labor who back when he was a US attorney gave an illegal sweetheart plea bargain for Epstein's pedophilia.

Like everyone else, I want to see the full video version of Scott's weekend. Found it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNNb...

Rank the following 4 things in terms of importance: 1) Current president 2) Democratic presidential candidate from 2024 3) Democratic president who isn't in office and didn't run for reelection 4) Democratic presidential candidate (TBD) in 2028 Seems like mental state of the current president is #1

My wife says the same thing about her coworker, except she really wants to stop working from home, and get a job at the office.

Read the book The Righteous Mind. Some people are wired to believe loyalty is a moral value, others are not.

Credit card companies only do things that are profitable. If they lost money on the rich, they wouldn't do it. Predatory practices on the poor are unconscionable, but the problem is lax regulation, not subsidies to rich people.

Bill Clinton was president when that came out. I'm pretty sure the constitution has different rules for Republican presidents.

I just hope he can get a RealID, otherwise he's not going anywhere.

In fairness to the racists, he promised 10% tarrifs, tanking the economy a little, not a 175% tariffs, tanking the economy a lot.

Next White Lotus should take place in a sub, for sure.

In addition, I've had problems where even though I followed her on Facebook, her posts were not appearing in my news feed, and I got other stuff I didn't even subscribe to instead. The posts were there but only if I looked for them. Something is very wrong.

These things emit so much radio frequency energy, it's going to be easy to build something that zeros in on them and directly targets them. Or maybe even build a drone that if its radio is disabled automatically goes attacks the strongest radio frequency source in the area.

He's smarter than Navarro, Lutnick and Trump. Believe it or not, he's the best hope of mitigating a disaster.

They've gone from 90 deals in 90 days to, "some of the negotiations with 17 partners are moving along."

There is a fantastic book, Enchanted America, which makes this point convincingly using survey data. Highly recommend it.

We almost had an alliance with Japan and other Asian countries against China. It was called the TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) and Trump withdrew us from it during his first term.

He did TWO Nazi salutes. When asked if they were Nazi salutes, instead of denying it, he made Hitler jokes. And then he endorsed a German Neo-Nazi party. Not sure if any of that was good for Tesla sales.

She wasn't buying coke. More likely, she was spending the cash someone bribed her with. She was with secret service - not a good time to buy drugs or bribe someone, but a great time to shop with dirty money.

The IRS guy was appointed by billionaire Musk which pissed off billionaire Bessent, who had him fired. The head of the IRS will be appointed by a billionaire, it's just a question of which billionaire a billionaire.

RFK Jr show more signs of psychopathy than autism, including cruelty to animals and sexual promiscuity - both classic signs of a psychopath.

I'd like to see a chart of how many active podcasts there are. Depending on how quickly podcasts die, we could still be increasing the total number or decreasing.

Reminds me of when Bank of America sold my mortgage, and sent me a "It's not you, it's us" note, telling me not to feel bad they didn't want my payments anymore. Then those bastards ghosted me and sold a 15 year fixed to my neighbor who had a recent 'remodel'!

I read all your links. That's good faith. The fact that you can't back up your claims with studies proves you don't have data. You're just RFK Jr with a different theory.

Being in the US illegally is not yet a crime (it's a civil violation). Steven Miller seems to think he can just decide that things are a crime and put people in jail...
