Maybe instead of creating silos and limiting hiring to those with only the relevant skills and eliminating applicants thru the use of technology, companies could take responsibility for the current jobs landscape and offer to teach people relevant skills?

I think in the end it's a personal decision.
Of course you can enjoy the art you want to enjoy, and you can choose to learn more about the artist if you want to.
But I'm fine not playing Hogwarts Legacy because of the antisemitic themes, and because of JK Rowling's stances. I don't need that art.

The only way this is going to change is if new requirements from legislators are folded in to existing employment laws.
Wasting people's time is an awful practice.

I think Blizzard Entertainment is a great example of knowing the real life lore informs the purchasing decision. Why would I want to support a company that treats their employees that way? Instead, I'll play another game, maybe an indie game. But taking some time to learn a bit more is never bad.
