BUTLERIAN JIHAD TIME, FOLKS ChatGPT delenda est

The fact that Cuomo has so much developer support is basically confirmation of what I wrote about developer cartels in @thenation.com. www.thenation.com/article/soci...

The only reason Republicans have a reputation as "fiscal hawks" is that the press refuses to tell the public basic facts about what they do when they are in office.

I wish people would also realize that depending on how the tax revenue for free buses is structured, it would be a direct subsidy for car free households.

okay but the exception here is the only one that matters lol

Get their ass

These people aren’t afraid Mamdani would be a bad mayor. We have a ridiculous, corrupt, incompetent mayor right now and the city is hanging in OK. They’re declaring all-out war because they’re afraid Mamdani (or Lander) might be a good mayor.

When is the media going to ask Cuomo if he supports Israeli war crimes?

California cannot be a refuge for people fleeing repression when an apartment costs three thousand dollars a month.

It's infuriating how 99% of the coverage of this new war doesn't bother to mention that it is happening because we had an agreement to limit and monitor Iran's nuclear program, which even Trump's own aides said was working, and he blew it up because it was negotiated under Obama.

i feel like homeowners who bought 20 years ago and have seen home values nearly triple in that time should not dismiss legitimate and accurate criticisms of their visionless planning docs.

Main thing is trains can arrive and depart at higher speeds

The routine arresting of elected officials opposing government action is a hallmark of fascism, and it is happening before our very eyes. @bradlander.bsky.social must be released immediately

Among Democrats - "Do you support Democrats like Sanders and AOC who call for a more aggressive stance towards Trump, or moderate Democrats who are willing to compromise with Trump issues important to their base?" AOC/Bernie: 70% Moderate Dems: 30% Harvard-Harris / June 12, 2025

It's pretty notable that mainstream, establishment discourse never ever ever considers giving liberal politicians credit for crime reductions. It's almost axiomatic that if crime goes down under a center-left leader it's either unremarked upon, or must be driven by something else.

A pretty inevitable result of Airbnb creating a zero-sum competition between residents and tourists for housing units, instead of building traditional hotels.

Please do not make this man work with Andrew Cuomo again. He doesn’t deserve that.

Each orange dot is a detached single family home lot larger than 21,000sf. Massachusetts has a minimum lot size and land use problem that is crippling our housing supply, exacerbating economic hardships and driving some of the worst congestion in America. 🗺️ American Enterprise Institute

When you see random Dems shill for the Israeli government just remember that their voters don't feel the same!

Israel's strike on Iranian nuclear facility is causing chemical and radiological contamination, International Atomic Energy chief Rafael Grossi tells UN Security Council

when you want to join the fun but can't quite get down with the nomenclature (ht @davelevitan.bsky.social)

yes. all the guys on stage with Derek Thompson at CentristCon last week are Cuomo supporters and he's the least "abundance"-y blue state politician in America! Kinda gives away the game.

Kinda impressed that the Trump administration has fully committed to trying to do a national version of Prop 187
