i think schaeffer is just a bad pick for the isles. really need high-end scoring and a defenseman who's only played 17 games as a 17 year old is really not interesting to me. can't go wrong with misa or hagens really but damn it would be nice to have the hometown kid who grew up a fan

Last thing for now: I get everyone is gonna take their shots at the old, bald guy with the dumb rules but unless you've been a fan of this team through the horrendous 90's and slightly less horrendous 2000's, you'll never get how amazing 2018-21 was and what it meant to us. A lot of that was Lou.

even if he was squeaky clean off ice, this guy is basically a worse dobson who will certainly be significantly cheaper but that’s the same gamble a bunch of other teams took and lost. no point (which means they’ll definitely do it)
