the draft order should just be reverse of the standings. no lotteries, no nonsense, no tv show. at most i support a "no more than x 1st picks in x years". there are only like 3 nhl teams that can actually afford to suck for more than a couple years at a time and everyone's way overreacted

i think schaeffer is just a bad pick for the isles. really need high-end scoring and a defenseman who's only played 17 games as a 17 year old is really not interesting to me. can't go wrong with misa or hagens really but damn it would be nice to have the hometown kid who grew up a fan

Last thing for now: I get everyone is gonna take their shots at the old, bald guy with the dumb rules but unless you've been a fan of this team through the horrendous 90's and slightly less horrendous 2000's, you'll never get how amazing 2018-21 was and what it meant to us. A lot of that was Lou.
