Possible, but OTOH why does it have to make sense?

And is this injunction going to be enforced in some way? Or will the police, military, etc all ignore it?

Sometimes I hate this whole timeline and wish I was living in a different one.

You are WAY overqualified.

This is as far as I can make out what appears to be going on.

3/4. If we accept the idea that moving a person from one place to another undoes rights and disempowers the judiciary, we are endorsing the basic Nazism practice that enabled the killing of millions.

While it's true the media isn't reporting protests, I'm also not seeing a lot of informal eyewitness accounts or home videos and photos being shared. If anyone has more, please do share them.

Uncoordinated protests are great too

Many smaller and more frequent protests are often far more effective than one big one. Stop worrying so much about where you protest or the perfect way to do it, and just do it. The perfect is the enemy of the good.

They're sending emojis to celebrate murdering dozens of civilians in their homes, like it's a video game and they just got some points. Does that sound like people who care about human life or are likely to be bothered about the safety of service members?

I keep wondering this too. But I also don't know if a journalist caught in the middle of such a situation would have enough background information to know if other people could be endangered by sharing the information. (Or even if the information is true).

I looked this up to see if it was real, and it looks like a bill introduced a month ago. Is the process very slow or does that mean it failed?

The end goal is presumably to restrict or punish organisations that provide any Spanish language or other non-English services.

I feel like this might make more sense if I had a clue what an 'outie' is.

In this case, read the large print

How does that work with poetry?

In any case I hope you find her safe soon.

Tortoiseshell cats have only two colours - orange and black. Calico cats have orange, black, and white. (Or in either case it can be diluted so the black becomes grey). At least that's what the words mean in Canada.

The picture isn't a tortoiseshell cat? It's a picture of a calico. Although I guess maybe that's not the actual cat.

The US has historically often sided with brutal anti-democratic regimes. That's not a new thing. What's new is breaking partnerships and betraying former allies. They were always fairly evil but now they're extremely unreliable and unstable in addition.
comment in response to post
True, but you've been siding with Netanyahu for years, and he's quite a lot worse. The change is that you're now attacking former allies.

I know the whole 'one drop' rule was a huge thing, but jeez. It's insane looking at some of these photos.

No, be both. Sometimes you need to amplify people who are saying something important.
