Yeah but... that's no fun. English is riddled with irregulars so it clearly offers more potential

Abscooted suggests motion away from, which is probably too specific. Scart has potential, but I think scunt is it.

I'm a librarian, ma'am; you asked a question in a public forum, and I'm providing you an informed answer. Public library patrons getting different checkout privileges based on how they supposedly intend to use resources would be a form of censorship, and an undue burden on us, and it's not our job.

They are a CCPL branch, so yes, big library. It's not an unusual or unreasonable limit at all. Homeschool parents hit it all the time. Libraries don't have credentials because they are not the book police. Their job is providing access to information.

Max number of simultaneous checkouts is a policy decision that doesn't fall on a single person (except maybe the library director), but 100 is not an unusual limit at all. It might seem high, but homeschool parents and parents of young kids (think picture books) max it out all the time.

Acetone will almost certainly work but it will remove everything else too. Rubbing alcohol has a chance. I'd probably go with the tattoo method and just draw something cool on top of it.

I heard tell of someone getting in the wrong lane in downtown Detroit as a teenager and accidentally crossing, getting turned away for insufficient funds, and being hassled about it for the rest of their adult life. They don't screw around. Odds aren't great.

I run my manual turntable (Pro-Ject Essential - also missing cue lever, totally unnecessary especially if your arm is weighted right) through a digital timer plug. Set it for 30 minutes every time I play a side. Poor man's auto stop. Get a new cart and don't bother with the lever
