Executives: if I'm working for you I want you to delegate management & retain leadership. Definitely not the other way around.

THREAD: I’m going to share this thread here to clearly state my perspective on electric vehicles, car dependency and better cities, for all those who frequently ask me about it, including media, elected leaders and many others. Here goes. Please share it frequently if you think it will help. 🧵#EVS

Unpopular opinion but IYKYK: Birks/Fakenstocks are actually just more comfortable with socks. I said what I said. 🦶

Canada, I just saw an amazing thing. Small town, early tourist time. I just saw a man, shopping alone. Unabashedly. Buy. A SPAGHETTI SQUASH. 🤯 30-some, typical weekender athleisure wear. I scarcely know what to do with this veggie, but if this doesn't give you hope for Canada, nothing will. 😂🇨🇦

Seeing Blatten buried again and again, from every angle... Properly staggering! 😮😱

Wow, what an amazing feat! 🤯🤩

Please and thanks. 🙏🏽

Battery discharge over 10GW on CAISO. Nice. It will be interesting to see if future capacity continues to move towards peak and/or spreads out the discharge to more than four hours.

"Brexit is a lovely case study for my friends over here in the United States. This is what happens when you put the middle finger up to the rest of the world and say: We want to engage with you. And you discover a few years on, there's no real gains from doing that."

As if you all need more reasons right now not to trust a word from AI - this story seems to be true. The AI and algorithms of a centralized technocratic authoritarian society are rather easy to control. 😏 techcrunch.com/2025/05/18/g...

Reminderr of why you should not trust AI summaries for anything at all! It sucks at math. Especially do not trust for: recipes, carpentry, health, travel and backcountry planning advice or routes. Most are LANGUAGE prediction models, not logic or mathematical models.

Well, seems like the UK is eager to join the US-death-cult. 😞 Clearly none of these lawmakers understand just how many pregnancies NATURALLY end in miscarriage, and how tragic and traumatic this is for women. The can f**k all the way off with this business. 🤬

To the cartoonist who drew this, well done.

Wowww - reminds me of that part of the 1980s and 90s when earthquakes were God's judgment on California for their sinfulness...anyone remember that?? Wonder what those folks think of all of these tornadoes and flooding in the central/eastern US, must be something they did. Anyone? ...Bueller?

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users. ALL ROAD USERS. And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all. For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them. Via @usa.streetsblog.org @nyc.streetsblog.org

Health 👏🏼 care 👏🏼 should 👏🏼 not 👏🏼 be 👏🏼 for 👏🏼 profit. Kick em out and take the services back. 🇨🇦 🌅

Pretty much.

TFW you're finally too successful at keeping a houseplant, but don't want to kill the progeny...time to start selling jade plants? 🤔

The “covid is only a threat to the vulnerable” narrative primed the pump for the eugenics movement we’re seeing now. It conditioned people to see the disabled & vulnerable as acceptable losses. People who were probably going to “die anyways”. It paved the way for fascism.

Crazy how long this conversation has been going on

Zero kids should die of measles. Zero. Any number higher than zero is entirely the fault of these unhinged monsters.

So many layers of corruption.

People who never read books now in charge of books.

The way we were treated at Delaney Hall is almost unbelievable. ICE shoved me, manhandled @repbonnie.bsky.social, and arrested Mayor Baraka. They disrespected us and tried to stop us from conducting the oversight we’re elected to do. But we’ll never back down in our fight for what is right.

Not dystopian at all. Shit like this is terrible, and people should be ashamed.
