That’s exactly how I conceived of it! The main god, Marcy, is in university to learn to program universes. She creates Earth as a class project, & while inspecting it meets 3 Masters students studying cosmological thought. They uncover a conspiracy—run by cats—that threatens the whole multiverse.

Funny story: I once referreed a science book for a publisher and recommended the author add more philosophy of science beyond Popper. When the book came out, they had added…Lakatos and that’s it! The most recent philosophy reference was 50 years old. 😂
