I notice, if only because the upload frequently overlaps with work meetings and I either have to wait impatiently to read the patreon update an hour late or I have to try and surreptitiously read it on my phone during the meeting. Haven't been caught yet 😎

And idk if anyone's actually invested in the shit going on with me, but I am pretty much back to baseline at this point, but I'm still not *super* feeling belly posting so idk how much that'll be happening.

I know the answer is probably just "practice" but with every new one of these you post all I can think is "how are they *this fast???*"

Hope y'all will forgive me being political on funny belly kink account. But workers rights matter a lot to me, and I can think of few better ways to spread the message than sing-along music. Super hard to not get the point when you're literally singing along with it.

And finally The Commonwealth of Toil. I do quite love this cover of it, but while this video credits it to Pete Seeger, that definitely isn't his voice singing, and I cannot for the life of me figure out who it is. youtu.be/67pxa4kRe2k?...

And moving on to artists I know less of, we've got David Rovics telling the story of The Battle of Blair Mountain, a worker uprising in West Virginia in 1921. Which was also the first aerial bombing on US soil. Not Pearl Harbor, but the USAF bombing civilians. youtu.be/GnVOYOW8s5c?...

But I would be remiss to neglect The Internationale, and I'm a big fan of Seeger's version as he explains the French lyrics in English throughout. youtu.be/_sC0D9pkw4s?...

And of course, Banks of Marble as well: youtu.be/Vd2YVXbd4I0?...

Moving on, we've got Pete Seeger, and where better to start in his discography than the classic Solidarity Forever: youtu.be/R8eK9ZXf-Ow?...

Next, also by Dick Gaughan, The World Turned Upside Down, a song about a proto-socialist movement in 17th century England youtu.be/g_gEaJZxQcE?...

Also hi, I've been absent because of some shit going on in my life but I'm doing a lot better now. Idk when I'll feel up to posting belly but I've got some art queued up for Sunday and will probably be reposting stuff again starting today.
