It talks about obesity without talking about poverty, suicide without lgbtq+, overmedication for behavioral issues without talking about our broken foster home system -- all headline findings in the reports it pulls their stats from checkplease.neocities.org/maha/html/17...

Not for nothing, but I can't believe Thomas Chatterton Williams is a real name of a person in 2025 and not, like, second baron of a neighboring estate in a Jane Austen novel.

Portnoy, Rogan and the "manosphere" just want to be able to say the N-word, sexually harass women, and call for the death of people they perceive as enemies, without any social or financial consequence. Also, they've never actually suffered any consequence. But they sure feel like huge victims.

Also, it's a duh statement presented as a BOLD TRUTH. They're new, so we don't know long-term impact. Well no. They're new. (Also, they are saving lives in the short term, which kinda seems important, but ...)

So many of the things that AI can do in the name of "efficiency" are the things that make source-building and high-quality, deeply reported journalism possible in the first place.

Also quickly falls into the Galileo Fallacy. Just because people disagree with you doesn't mean you're right. Statistically you're probably wrong.
