I keep wondering what the next 4 years will bring. Like most who found their way to #Bluesky, I’m concerned to say the least. But I’m choosing to look at it through a lens of opportunity and personal responsibility to be a source of light in the darkness vs being a victim to the inevitable chaos.

It seems that I might have made the right choice finally moving from X to Bluesky. Even after a solid 15 minutes of scrolling, I’ve yet to encounter even one conspiracy theory, false-Alpha rant, or lunatic trying to sell me golden sneakers & autographed bibles. Just well-meaning, interesting posts 🤔

After escaping the asylum once called Twitter, I have found a new online home here. My Bluesky account is literally 5 minutes old, & I’m already feeling a sense of belonging amongst people of good intentions, strong intellect, and common interest. It’s a wonderful reminder that civility isn’t dead.
