Honestly though, the point is valid. While most of us hanging around Bluesky are on the intellectual end of the spectrum, the vast majority of the general public (hence the majority of the voting population) are focused on more day to day issues rather than complex topics.

I would suggest the correlation between long COVID & the sudden rise in POTS diagnosis in younger women (<45). This group includes my wife who went from being and ultra-marathon runner to barely being able to walk up our stairs in only 2 months. She’s been clawing her way back for 2 years now.

Sadly, the ruling had even less substance than it seem. Saying Trump’s desire for this to be struck down as an affront to the working class is giving Trump too much credit. He had it struck down because it was Biden’s policy, and he can’t stand someone else getting credit. It’s simple, he’s simple.

I think it’s important to remember that most people who view conspiracy theories as fact often do so because they lack sufficient knowledge to understand the reality of any given topic. The simplistic nature of conspiracy allows them a certain level of understanding.
