@repmoskowitz.bsky.social explain yourself Jared. Yours are the actions of an appeaser. 10.7% of your constituents under 65 in FL-23 receive Medicaid benefits and this is how you and the other 9 Democrats who voted to censure are acting?!?

Tuning into Top Ent Hits radio now! Their morning zoo radio show with Chainsaw and Acorn is a good listen. Bit long winded though.

Why do so many people treat Musk like he IS Tesla and IS SpaceX? Yes he's CEO but if he were to go to jail those companies would/could continue on. He's not irreplaceable.

The writer's room for these types of movies must be insane. Everyone tossing out crazy ideas and the producer simply says yes to every single one.

Now I know how to properly phrase my next pointed critique of lunch. "This is a hoagie of disease, my glands hate it!"

It would have to track you throughout the store and save all "custom prices" just for you until checkout....That guy looks shady. He's Mr. $4/apple from now on. I really need a source if this is a real thing or just speculation. It's certainly technically possible

This is going to be just like the virus/anti-virus war except what's at stake will be a basic trust in all knowledge critical to things like governments, financial systems, medicine, and science. Basic stuff really. The preview we're getting in 2024 does not bode well

I tried to balance a soda can from outside on top of the mini fridge items that were all on pressure sensitive switches. I opened the door again & half the stuff came spilling out. I had to gather everything up and take them to the front desk so I wouldn't be charged a few hundred $$ 🤦♂️

Although I like Le Guin this is just a terrible take. Many of the early hard SF writers were also brilliant scientists like Asimov & Clarke. Why shouldn't they use their knowledge to extrapolate the future and incorporate those ideas into their stories. They did and were often right, satellites etc.

Although the article does touch upon it, I have yet to see a reasonable explanation from Tesla why they believe optics alone will be sufficient for autonomous driving. Little things like precipitation would make the car inoperable for much of the year and many regions

I was curious if this was another callback to the original and sure enough: "The shoes worn by Sigourney Weaver's character Ellen Ripley in the 1986 film Aliens are called the Reebok Alien Stomper". The crew wore modified Converse Chucks in the original Alien

Watching those old debates on YouTube makes you realize how much has been lost in public discourse, I think mostly due to the 24 hours news cycle and the need to be first. All nuance is gone now

It certainly is a recipe for how to end a democratic nation. Although I would have preferred it as a long meandering blog post on an extreme view of unitary executive theory with a banana bread recipe at the end
