Those are nice looking plants! And congratulations on the tattoo - how many do you have now?

There was a guy there in a MAGA hat, and he aimed his iPhone camera at my face and asked: why don't I like Trump? Do I think he lost in 2020? Did I know his convictions were politically motivated? What about Biden's gaffes? &c. I shouldn't have replied, but I think I answered him calmly and well.

Snackface! 😆 Doesn’t that face just tell you it wants a snack?

I skipped this in theaters and did not realize it had come to Disney+! Thank you for the reminder!

Have we really fallen so far that a headline needs to command us to look at its article?

P. S.: please post to let us know when you made it through and are recovering from surgery?

Cats are wise. And that’s adorable.
It sounds like you’re going through a lot lately. I’ve always known you to be strong, though I wish you didn’t have to be. You’ll make it through all of this and you’ll work it into a novel someday.

Oh, it was someone else who said they taught Last Unicorn, not you. It's great writing, just the same.
I feel obliged to keep an eye out for the book of Mr. Badger's poetry. Might find wisdom therein that's useful these days.

I graduated from Princeton in '92, so this caught my eye. (Just got email about our 33rd reunion coming up.) I was also in the dramatic society (if that's what was Triangle back then). I feel a connection. Also a 'Last Unicorn' fan.
You never know how far will travel the ripples your life makes.

No toxic positivity here - all I’ll say is, I hope you can treat yourself to something nice after you make it through all the not-nice!

It’s Mrs. Brisby! I love this artwork!

I hits it makes sense; otherwise I could register a domain with someone’s real-life name, and then get a blue checkmark. Like, a DJ owns djtrump.com and a blue checkmark there could cause some real confusion.
I guess I’ll just have to figure out how to become famous, instead.

I think I figured it out - there are two kinds of verification. One is the blue checkmark; the other is domain based. You have verified that you own seangelish.com, but you still could be anybody. No blue checkmark for us!

Doesn’t look like it worked. I still see you as isobelstarling dot bsky dot social.
I got it to work for me; let me know if you’d like help.

I see it on their example @jay.bsky.team. Well, fingers crossed!

I'm also wondering "now what?" I verified my domain, but no blue checkmark. (I don't see one for you, either.) Maybe it needs time for the system to acknowledge it?

Okay, that sounds like fun! I had been wondering if the ’glam’ part of it had something to do with, I dunno, sequins or something. 😊

Okay, I'm curious ... what is involved in 'glamping'?!

Aw, that's really sweet! :)
And, a donut! That reminds me - I have the Too Good To Go app, and the local Krispy Kreme offers a dozen random donuts for $5.83 every evening ... I have been meaning to try that, maybe it's time!

Short answer: no, there aren't. I'm going through a difficult patch in my life right now and I'm feeling cut off from people.
I understand your opinion of AI, but please don't try to shame me for using it. You yourself might benefit from some soul-searching. I'm here if you'd like to talk.

I don't use ChatGPT very much, but today I tried something: I asked it to use what it knows about me to describe what kind of person it thinks I am. (And my flaws, and how I can work to overcome them.)
I was summed up solely in terms of what I've revealed to it about myself. It was an epiphany.

* Personally. Ignoring the state of the country and the world at the moment.

I remember Chris Cillizza from when he wrote those articles for CNN that pointed out the 20 most outrageous lies in each of Trump’s speeches. I’m guessing he no longer does that.

I always find it fascinating that the fires that hurt us can end up forging us into our best selves - and that the people who have been the most damaged often turn out to be the most terrible or the most wonderful.

I like your questions that make me think about my day, my mood, and my life (even if I don't answer them for the world to see!).
I have a question for you in return! Where does your compassion come from? Were you raised with it, or did you arrive at compassion after difficult lessons in your life?

I’m disappointed that the article doesn’t say what the epitaph itself was. Sounds like that would have been interesting.
