I'd be instantly sacked (and yes, maybe prosecuted too) if my employer found out I'd joined any organisation classified by the government as terrorists, regardless of the pettiness of the reason for that classification

There's also the fact that, even when the DNC acknowledge that they're a party of the left, they mean centre-right. So they disavow people like Mamdani, but don't feel they can be honest about why they're doing it, so they have to pretend they think he's an antisemite.

I get pretty upset any time I'm referred to as a Brit, especially by an Irish person. I feel no loyalty to the British state (quite the opposite) and I'd dismantle it singlehandedly if I could.

It's mind-boggling that these people who tell me I'm wrong in thinking I'm experiencing uncomfortable heat don't understand acclimatisation. I've lived my whole life in Scotland so 32° is unbearably hot.
