"Nair your butthole."
There is a poem in that, I swear.

I spent years raging at God, standing on the ramparts, in the storms of life, fist raised in defiance. Today, I calmly embrace the Divine Whispers Of love.
It is much better this way. Though I am glad God was big enough to allow Mr to rage. I needed that to heal.

Completely agree with you. I grew up in such a community. It justified child rape with scripture. It took me years to "heal" the spiritual damage.

I pray for the Rapture every day!
Then America can be healed from the hate and damage of Christianity.

Now don't you dare use logic and critical thinking. Most Christians are still trying to count to twenty. They'd have Sesame Street to help, but PBS. . . Evil liberal thinking.

My Brother lives in Farmington!
Tells a tale of dueling chainsaw battles between neighbors.
And people think Florida is strange.
It is, but still, chainsaws?

The native Floridians are wearing parkas and their mukluks as if they are matching to the North Pole with with Admiral Peary.
It's 50 degrees outside, with overcast skies with a light breeze.

I live the a split mind and other profound trauma due to my father's actions.
He died denying everything.
May his flesh rot in his grave and his soul roast in the lowest level of Dante's Inferno.
Some crimes are not forgivable.

With the exception that I'd fall if I tried to stand, I resemble this.

"An awkward gesture"?
Really?
You're sticking with that?
We now know how far we can go, just don't put the uniform on.

Thank You.
I think I'll spend the day rolling around the VA Hospital, with a birthday hat on, forcing people to sing "Happy Birthday To Me."
I mean if the media can force me to watch Trump all day yesterday, if I turned the TV on, I should be allowed to do this.

I know the real harm abuse of scripture can cause. I lived it. I don't justify the evil Christians have done throughout history. But I also know the good. People like Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter, Dr. King, and John Lewis to name just a few. Like all things, scripture is abused.

No, it isn't. It was what that enabled me to shift from an immoral image of God that was used to justify my sexual abuse. To an i.age and understanding of God that weeps and suffers with me

It fails me to understand why. I know what they have done, they view Trump as a modern King David, an immoral man chosen by God to lead a nation. But Trump is a Nebucanezer ruler, one who has enslaved a nation. Trump is not a King David.

As a progressive Process Theologian and Christian, I am deeply offended by much of the rhetoric and actions of Evangelical, Charismatic, and Non-denominational Christians. I am Episcopalian by traditions and point out the sins of my community repeatedly. If we fail to learn from our past we fail.

I love Emily Dickinson. But for the life of me, I cannot remember the poem.

You know, like President Carter. Like John Lewis. Like Dr. KING Jr. Each a great man. Each carried themselves with honor and dignity. Each treated those they met with dignity and honor.
Real men, authentic men.
