My husband is a high-energy physicist and I was a grad student in physics at the time. We had a cake at the rehearsal dinner with an image of a particle interaction on it (taken from a Fermilab t-shirt). Also, I kept my invitation and gift list in Hypercard.

I just got an e-mail from my brother-in-law, who is 2 degrees of separation from the Pope. Of course. When he and my sister were in Rome a year or so ago they met a cardinal who was a possible candidate, and if he had been chosen, they would have had the perfect "Who's that guy with Jack?" photo.

My best friend in high school lived in a house only slightly larger than that and hers was a family of 11. Of course, with 9 kids, some of them are out of the house by the time the youngest are born, but even so, it felt crowded.

Yes, my brother in law is the same. I think it’s because he remembers AND stays in touch with everyone he’s ever met.

I have told this joke many times about my brother-in-law, who really does know everyone. He and my sister were actually vacationing in Rome once and randomly ran into someone he knew.

Democrats wonder why their approval ratings are so low and it's because voters see who they ride for and put it all on the line for (rich white multimillionaires) and who they don't (literally everyone else). You demoralize your own base with your cowardice.
