Geez, Salinger didn't have to deal with marketing automation platforms. (This "old man yelling at clouds" brought to you by my having to swap from Mailchimp to either Kit or Beehiiv, both of which require Zapier...)

By the way, folks - I know for a bit that the Barnes & Noble site didn't have the Nook version for The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association up. It's fixed! Nook ebook lovers, you can get your fix!

OK, I'm stupidly proud of the unicorn cupcakes I made to match the cover of The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association for the book launch party. I made a video and everything.

This Saturday - I'm on a digital panel for the @cymerafestival.co.uk! I'll be talk with @emilytesh.net about magical academia. I'm really looking forward to this one! Register here: www.cymerafestival.co.uk/cymera25-eve...

A fantastic celebration of the launch of THE GRIMOIRE GRAMMAR SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION with @csecooney.bsky.social at my beloved local indie bookstore, @wordbookstores.bsky.social! Thanks so much to everyone who came out! @titanbooks.bsky.social

@titanbooks.bsky.social sent me a miniature pin of THE GRIMOIRE GRAMMAR SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION, which is just adorable. But I'm not sure I chose the best collar - what do you think, cute on-brand colors, or giving "I'm your state representative who picked the wrong flag pin today"?

There's a certain, I don't want to say FOMO, maybe Fear of Missing Optimization? that comes from trying to choose flights when you live close to three international airports and your destination has two, and you could leave either in the evening or the morning of the next day.

Yay! Folks, you're all going to love this.

It’s good to see me, isn’t it? 💜✨ Yes, yes, the rumors are true — we are OFFICIALLY launching here on Bluesky! In case you forgot, we’re a place to buy books online where every purchase supports local bookstores, not billionaires. Thanks for being here 🙌🏽

I only just noticed that this existed. And my thought process was a) Of COURSE this exists, I don't know why my first thought was not that Chuck Tingle would jump on this extremely obvious prompt but I'm glad he did and b) I am glad that this exists. At least we got something out of the debacle.

If you're in NYC and looking for signed copies of The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association (and Dreadful!), I hit all the Barnes & Nobles in Manhattan! (So Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Union Square, and Fifth Avenue.) Stop by to get a copy before they're gone!

Amazing launch celebration of THE GRIMOIRE GRAMMAR SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION at the Barnes & Noble Upper East Side on Thursday!

The problem with having three days of launch events in a row is that you fall behind on the obligatory social media posts for the launch events...

Looking forward to tonight's event at Word in Jersey City with @csecooney.bsky.social! withfriends.co/event/231767...

More later, but I loved this picture with @sarahbethdurst.bsky.social at Barnes and Noble Upper East Side last night for the Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association launch!

Tomorrow - the Jersey City event at Word Bookstore for THE GRIMOIRE GRAMMAR SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION! 7pm! @csecooney.bsky.social! Come on by, New Jersey!

Still not sure why some people can access the sale price and others can't (I can't!) but roll the dice and take your chance?

I remember seeing authors' posts on @scalzi.com's The Big Idea for years, and hoping to be included one day. Two books in, and it's still pretty cool. whatever.scalzi.com/2025/05/29/t...
