Next step in project 2025 is to call Dems, ā€˜enemies of the people’. They will hammer that message on all media. Next, they’ll be ā€˜forced to remove dems from office, for the sake of the country’. Followed by their arrest. GOP has then crossed the the rubicon into dictatorship.

I hope Newsom is looking at withholding federal taxes and is in talks with Canada…

OK... this is getting seriously out of control now. We have a drunk in charge of the DoD [and no, I understand NSA or ICE are monitoring these posts], who himself is threatening to invoke martial law. WTF? I'm an immigrant and this was my country too [yes, I said, 'was'].

lol. New Yorker here, now living in Europe… and YES this is my response every single frikkin’ morning.

Wanna bet…

However accurate the survey was isn’t terribly important. The intent of NOAA and NWS is not to turn a tidy profit, it’s to provide citizens with life-saving and accurate information… or put another way, provide a service.

Wow… I wonder how long he’s got left in his job, once trump gets to hear about this?

I agree with that. She needs to be doing science, somewhere. I can tell you the UK and EU would love to have her expertise and skills furthering science, but here in Europe.

Well, you’ve got my vote… oh wait, I forgot, I’m not an elected democrat.

Mine was my local public library… I was there so often, they were going to make me an honorary librarian.

Probably never going back home to Brooklyn. The two happiest moments in my life: 1) marrying my partner, and 2) getting my Green Card*. *Turned into naturalisation several years later.

Made me cry.

Anglo-American and Brooklyn-born partner. We sold our house of 19 yrs in Brooklyn and bought in the UK. Doubt we will ever go back home.

The Guardian reports: in the UK, a record number of Americans have applied for ā€˜Permanent Leave to Remain’ (similar to a green card). And that’s in the last 3 months alone. Immigration lawyers say numbers are increasing every week. They point to political unrest in the US. And that includes us.

My dad fought with the LRDG in North Africa, then invaded Sicily, before landing at Normandy. Then parachuted into the middle of an entire SS Panzer division in Arnhem… rescued by Dutch resistance. His unit went on to liberate Bergen-Belsen. A 5’ 7ā€ badass who knew how to kill fascists.

Six years (sept ā€˜39 - aug ā€˜45). 50+ million dead, tens of millions displaced, cities and infrastructure destroyed.

It’s the cone of shame, duh.

How? We obliterated their cities with high explosives and incendiaries in day & night air raids, killed their leaders, and eventually prosecuted & jailed the survivors. The result? Over 50 million dead, the country in ruins. Then we poured tons of money into it to build a thriving democracy.

Hmm. Adobe creative suite is identical cost-wise across platforms. I had to work on both too. I worked in advertising (an art director). The reason every single agency I worked for in NYC uses Macs: Build quality, ease of use, MacOS easier to fix (according to my IT depts).

Same phone, but with a MacBook Pro M3. I’m good for the next few years.

It’s true, Harvard is the institution not the place. However, as the oldest university in the US, it has deep connections to Cambridge, Massachusetts.

I’m not blocking him, yet. But I’m no longer following his feed. The fact Booker defended Kushner’s despicable actions at trial (which I didn’t know about), shocks me. I know, I know… Jersey politics. But fuck me, where’s his moral compass, and ethics?
comment in response to post
Are you saying Cory Booker is bought and paid for? Heartbreaking. I had hopes for this man to help lead us out of this hellscape. Now… not so much.

Rubio doesn’t give two shits. Hell, he doesn’t care that his past statements catch him out for the lying hypocrite he is. Rubio is a spineless, shameless dreck of a person.

Isn’t South Sudan a war zone right now?

Dumber than a post.

It was morally indefensible of you to vote for Kushner as ambassador. He is a convicted felon and utterly unfit to represent the United States. How dare you. Your fine words of a few weeks ago on the floor of Congress are meaningless drivel now. The Democratic Party’s finished… as is your career.

A deliberate slap in the face to France and especially to President Macron. Insulting and disrespectful to their citizens.

What the fuck is wrong with these people? What was Booker thinking? The Democratic Party is dead in the water at the moment.

Plus, look at the time stamp. 01:34 am. That man can’t stay awake during the daytime.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. IMO: this screed is in his style, but he didn’t write it since it’s spelled correctly and uses words he’d never use (ā€œguiseā€ for one). Stephen Miller perhaps?

ā€œBtw, even Trump voters don’t deserve this.ā€ Sadly, I’m going to disagree with you. Trump voters definitely do deserve this. The only ones who don’t are the children.
