Just so we’re clear, the Sask Party is working on behalf of their big donors, Alberta oil and gas. They will burn the planet to fill their pockets. Climate change will make food more expensive as extreme weather impacts crops and drought impacts cattle. #skpoli www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

It’s weird some provinces still have mildly accountable governments and then there’s Saskatchewan #skpoli #SaskParty

Apparently my ex has been dealing with leg numbness. Dr just gave him gabapentin. Told him to lose weight. Last night he was in surgery for 9hrs to remove a tumor from his spine - after he suddenly couldnt walk. This is SK but #skpoli wtf. #Cons & #healthcare = #dumpsterfire

Train derails in northwest Regina #skpoli #CNRail CN Rail is investigating the cause of the derailment www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Scott Moe and Sask Party are dismal failures. Those without housing are about triple the all time high from 2020, sitting at over 1500 people. Yet Gary Grewal Gaines 3/4 a million. What about Jeremy cockrill? Scott Moe? Scott Moe’s wife? There are others. People are freezing to death.

Australia is moving to ban the rich from donating in politics while in Saskatchewan we have Scott Moe undoing some buttons, turning down the lights, pouring a drink and telling the rich to come back to bed.

“She said HIV is often related to poverty or social determinants, young women are being affected at a much larger rate and the biggest risk factor is having unprotected sex.” And yet the SaskParty govt focuses on undermining the teaching of #SexEd #Saskatchewan #Canada www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Moe created this problem when he changed the SIS program. People can’t afford rent even if there is housing available. #skpoli www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

“An online document from the event said the award recognized their work “defending parental rights in our public school system and fighting back against the insidious gender identity and critical race theory policies being promoted in our schools.”” Figures! How gross leaderpost.com/news/politic...

Attention Scott Moe The Moe you know the better we all will be. #skpoli

Canada Post is a public service and we should NOT expect it to make a profit. Do we expect parks to turn a profit? Or emergency services? Do roads turn a profit? Canada Post provides a broad service to Canadians and SHOULD be government funded and maintained.

I just learned one of Saskatchewans most prominent lawyers, an absolute titan of the profession, passed away recently from hospital acquired Covid. The family announced the death “with sadness and anger”. I commend them for speaking out. How tragic. Healthcare should be safe. We must do better.

All jokes aside it's really fucked up to see so many people on here celebrating murder. No one here is the judge of who deserves to live or die. That's the job of the AI algorithm the insurance company designed to maximise profits on your health and no one else

There was a time when government labs would study things like this independent of vested, for profit, paid for, biased pretence-at-science BS. Plastic recycling doesn't work, plastic & oil industry knew it wouldn't but said it would because it is damned profitable.

Australia: "Long COVID is hitting up to an estimated 20% of Australians 3 months after they contracted COVID — mostly women, but also men and children. In the current COVID wave, that means a lot of people coming down sick for a long time" Source: archive.md/b18Km

This paper is interesting for a few reasons. It shows that mask mandates in healthcare protect patients from infections, and removing mask mandates in healthcare harms patients. A facility without a mask mandate is making a *deliberate choice* known to harm patients. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

The problem with standing in line isn’t the waiting, it’s the overhearing of awful conversations that makes it unbearable.

elon's hem is constantly fighting for its life

This is public health at its best. In 30 seconds - 'SARS-CoV-2 continues to mutate. You will continue to be reinfected. The risk of #LongCovid increases with each infection. Ventilate rooms frequently, and wear a mask. Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

Well, that didn’t take long. Moe couldn’t help himself. Mere moments after the new session’s first QP Scott Moe fell back on criticizing #SkNDP for the “Singh/Trudeau alliance”. Same old Same old Moe.

Jared Clarke is a strong person and a great parent. The non-confidence motion was very powerful.

Lori, is “nutritional promotion” the root cause of the issue or did someone tell you to use that phrase and you don’t actually know what is meant by that? Thought so.

More than 4000 new Long COVID victims, per week.

Health Canada estimates 1 in 10 ppl who contract COVID-19 suffer from a form of long COVID. Symptoms include brain fog, fatigue, high blood pressure & respiratory issues. The future of what Covid will be–everyone becoming disabled w/ no support. this isn’t okay edmonton.ctvnews.ca/alberta-clos...

#skpoli SMR's are diverting capital which would have been much better spent on a faster deployment of renewables. More Moe deficit plan. Join the Sask Power engagement session this Wednesday 27 7-8pm . They may not take your questions but you can ask in a chat box. saskpower.com/our-power-fu...

My new favourite genre of fiction is written by Mandryk about Scott Moe and how he is going to change his overall tone, and work on the issues facing the people of Saskatchewan. I feel like after 6 years we have a pretty good idea of who Moe is, and he ain't this. leaderpost.com/opinion/colu...

Saskatchewan Party MLA Todd Goudy is the only candidate who has come forward seeking the Speaker nomination. Blaine McLeod is eyeing Deputy Speaker. Acclamation likely and it starts at 10 am. #skpoli

wishing saskatchewan premier Yank Twill a very build some fucking public housing

Exactly this. Treating public services and Crown corporations like private businesses is ridiculous. They’re not supposed to be about profit. I’m from rural Saskatchewan. Services would still be stuck in the 1950s if the Crowns hadn’t built the necessary infrastructure.

I think it speaks volumes that right wingers criticize bluesky for being “liberal” and “left wing”, when it’s really just that hate speech isn’t allowed.

Every few months, an issue bothers me enough to do a late-night, deep-dive, twitter thread. Last night, I tried that on this promising platform, but few saw it. Based on @alannasmith.bsky.social superb investigative journalism. I would appreciate your review & comment. #MHCareMedical #Atabay

Neoliberal education reforms have only widened the gap. Vouchers, standardized tests, charter schools, school “choice”, have all funneled money toward our already affluent communities. The way to *actually* fix education is community based models, guaranteed housing and equitable funding.

Here's where wild pigs occurrences in all of western Canada have been. Note these are occurrences from GPS collars, trail cameras, confirmed observations from the public, telephone surveys, interviews, media stories, etc.

‘A little dirty’: inside the secret world of McKinsey, the firm hooked on fossil fuels

No McKinsey, you can't say you're a climate leader committed to net zero while working with greenwashing Big Oil clients whose projected emissions would push the world past 3-5 degrees of warming. Read our UN "Integrity Matters" report please. @mazzucatom.bsky.social www.un.org/sites/un2.un...

FFS Saskatchewan. And you voted this dumb fkr in again? Tommy Douglas rollin' in his grave along with all those farmers who started the CCF in the 1930's with such power and passion. Wake tf up. Scurvy, ffs.
