Same. It's too risky to travel there if you want to make sure you're allowed back in the future!

Have they ended telehealth for mental health care? This doesn't align with the latest I was aware of as it related to physical health appointments, not psychotherapy

Thank you for writing your chapter!

I've read that there aren't many usable minerals in Ukraine other than a part Russia wants? Looks like Trump may have made a bad deal...

Any way other than via Facebook? Maybe people don't want to fund Zuckerbergs hate either.

Five Leaves is a total gem!

This looks really interesting and rings true to experiences with adults on loneliness in the therapy room.

In the same way the woman asked to be grabbed by the pussy.

The USA is no longer an ally. Trump has made it clear they do not share our values of democracy and would bring us down with them.

I read this last year. It was really good and factually concise!

I think given the modern view of Freud he lost quite terribly.

Just changed over to this yesterday! I didn't know GR was an Amazon company.

You mean in the times where women had no choice over whether to have children and lacked basic bodily autonomy? Those good old days.

Therapists who don't have the confidence to do their own private practice I imagine? Or who don't have better information or guidance on how poor BH is. Maybe there's an information gap to be filled...

As long as possible. Presuming long term work then months may be preferable, 6 weeks at a minimum to process an unplanned end to work.

I've begun to buy my books directly from the publisher where possible when it's niche and not in a general store.

This is the reason why I, a natural audience for the Guardian in most circumstance, do not subscribe to the Guardian. When you stop platforming transphobic, dangerous rhetoric that endangers the lives of the trans community, you'll get my full support and money.

My hope would be that the British public see the shitshow over the ocean and wake up to realising how unworkable that chain of thought and governing is. Kind of like how Europeans get to witness how harmful and idiotic Brexit was...

You don't need retro games or consoles to play offline. I've never online gamed, never will. It's not a requirement and there are plenty of excellent games that don't require you to be online or in a multilayer environment.

Indeed. Let's see where things stand in a years time, nevermind another 4. The pace of change in this age is rapid.

Passworded doc and locked print out for the attention of my clinical supervisor who is the executor of my work in that circumstance. I wrote it myself, never heard of it being done otherwise?

Agreed. Labour are abandoning the left and anyone with empathy. They'll be losing my vote for the first time if they carry on down this road. Lib dem/greens will be the only moral choice.

Even more reason to opt out of patriarchal norms of changing your name and adopting a man's.

Yeah I don't talk much. I read a book or watch something on a tablet with my earphones in. It's not rude - I'd rather my artist was focused on the permanent work they're doing than on chatting idly with me.

Susie Orbach, like myself, is a British psychotherapist. We do not diagnose or hand out diagnoses here.

And with what you propose Susie Orbach would not be a psychotherapist. I cannot agree with you. 'Psychology' is not the required knowledge for working relationally with people.

And how about stepping in to legislate donations to political parties? I believe it was Starmer who shot that down just last week. If/when Elon Musk pulls the strings of Reform and they take power, Starmer will be to blame for not removing money from our politics.

Validate, support, connect people with resources and empower them to find their voice. Most of all- hold hope when others feel hopeless.
