Personally I’ve never played a Tiefling (which may or may not be correlated with not desperately needing to work through some identity stuff)

I could never stream expedition 33 because people would see how inconsistent my parries are.

Gum chewers are immediately in consideration for enemy status.

I hate that I have watched multiple of those competitions and thought “if I were more flexible, I could win that competition.”

I just have to be careful because I’m competitive and I will not stop until my body collapses if I let the demons win. With weightlifting I’m good about being careful, but with cardio I’m a glutton for pushing my limits. And the limits are intense.

The first five or six minutes are miserable until I get a solid sweat going and then it fades into flow state.

SAME. In grad school I discovered my love of distance running and cycling. I never turned back.

Luckily I’m on the east coast for this one. The issue is I don’t want to stay awake that late, haha. Old.

I saw those two as well but it seemed unlikely to me to be true.

Yeah, I’m not in that kind of rush. I can wait for a while. I can live without a new Mario Kart.

Thank you! Right now it’s closer to 5x per week. I cut down a little and added more cardio on my lifting days. And yeah, veins are popping out of from on my forearms. Hopefully more to come!

A little smaller these days, but I’m not too upset about it.

I think my gym would take issue with that level of confidence.

It’s one of the reasons I was so trepidatious about bodybuilding. It’s really easy to focus solely on what “needs” to improve. I’m trying to walk that fine line of getting stronger/leaner while also enjoying my body along the way as it is.

Both parts! Discipline matters but so does self-awareness about what your body needs. The new plan I’m on has more downtime than I used to have, and it’s been easier to let myself rest when I need to.

Being asked to care about Verso felt akin to having thirty Wolverine movies when I would happily watch Storm file her taxes.
