Yep. 2 hours seems eminently sensible. The same amount of time as N5 for almost double the work with sophisticated analysis seems crazy. Open book - tricky for film, but hardly insurmountable

That would have been astounding! A Monster Calls is my favourite novel to teach S2s. I have rarely read with such emotional impact. The pupils edged closer and closer to me - and to each other - as we neared the end and the tears flowed. It felt very special and very cool. Thank you x
