I don’t know how they’re going to cope with the sheer number of people who will arrive without a set leaving date or a a set plan for hotels and locations after the group stages. They’re going to think that all these people are entering to overstay, as they have with backpackers recently

And what now happens to the women who play football and don’t look traditionally feminine? Will they be told they can’t play coz they might be trans? Are they supposed to show their genitalia to prove they are allowed? This is so harmful to trans women and all women who don’t look ‘feminine enough’

Anyone know what the roof banner is of? It will be in front of me so I’ll be seeing it back to front!!

They won’t though and it just puts her in an awkward position whilst not achieving anything. It’s not her decision or her fault. Perhaps it’s something the supporters trust can put to a club representative. They sometimes have people as high as Josh Kroenke answer questions I think

Based on form this season (and for me performances in big/important games…), if you had to lose one of Gabriel or Saliba to real madrid this summer who would you rather? (Sorry, for the purpose of the question you HAVE to pick one)

They have also had a very fortunate amount of luck this season. Sometimes that happens, decisions go your way, your best player stays fit and firing, and you win games. Sometimes it doesn’t. Unfortunately for us they’ve been blessed this season, we have not

I’m wondering if there’s anything more we can do as a collective. Maybe even a banner or something at a game

Is anyone aware of any fan-led movements or bodies currently pressuring the club on this? Would love to contribute if so. Aside from not buying shirts with the branding on I’m not sure what else I can do individually and would like to do something with a more collective impact… any thoughts welcome!

How much of a chance do you think we have of going deep into the CL and, dare I say it, getting to a final? Considering it’s likely we will face inter on our side of the draw…

I don’t think we have ever coped with them well over the last few years. Not sure what it is. We just don’t seem able to go there and get a result. Must play on the players’ minds too

I know a few who do and it was particularly busy yday as I think a lot of people didn’t want to go straight home after that! Usually the highlights from the game get shown on the TVs (Altho for some reason yday it stopped halfway through). Not sure if there’s a beer deal on as 2 pints cost me £8.75

Worth noting tho that for a Sunday 4:30 game it should’ve been expected people were likely to stay in the ground for a drink over going back to pubs and the catering staff were massively underprepared for this. Many tills had closed and they couldn’t pour fast enough. Post game should’ve been better

Helps that we are able to walk around the ground to meet mates who have to go in though other entrances due to sitting elsewhere as well

Used it and thought it was brilliant. Having the previous game on the TV and being able to enjoy a few discounted beers was brilliant and better than the pub where I probably wouldn’t have been able to see the TV and would’ve paid double

The Passenger by Ulrich Alexander Boschwitz.
An account of Germany plummeting into Nazism written after Kristallnacht. It captures a Jewish man’s descent into desperation and nightmare better than anything I have read. Recommend looking up the author’s story too. Always poignant but especially now.

I fear injuries may now have killed his career. How tentative he was in challenges and hold up play - huge parts of his game - after his previous injury. The mental affect of this on him cannot be understated.

Very true. I suppose that’s a good thing for local fans but that’s easy for me to say having always lived fairly near the ground. Yeah can’t complain, although have one mate who seems to win in the ballot every few games. Just have to be a lucky person I guess!

100% of the people who applied for the Bolton game won it. Wonder if it will be same for palace game… I’ve only ever won Bolton and Shaktar (also had a low application rate I believe due to midweek/importance of game) in two years lol

Do you think that is more the opinion of some of your American following or are you getting that from Brits as well? I don’t feel like it’s as polarised in the U.K.
