Of course. He's the devil.

Greta again proves that she has more moral courage than all the world's leaders and politicians put together.

Not "do not have to go through with" an anti-constitutional order. MUST NOT.

An ICE job offer is a gilded turd. Should come with the disclaimer that anyone who takes that job is liable to go in front of a tribunal for crimes against humanity one day.

I'm so, so sorry.

That's a lot of people. Where would they go? Never mind, I suppose going some place populated and pretending it's empty is just another American tradition.

Hallmark should take you up on this. I'd buy quite a lot of cards to send out! Unlike stupid Valentine's or whatever one-card holidays they've been promoting.

Heritage Foundation is what happens when someone didn't watch Sesame Street. Or Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Or read the Bible. Jesus, who raised these clowns?

The answer is that there's a promise of a trade deal, which can be unilaterally changed at any time, or renegotiated every 90 days.

The rule of law applies in most parts of the world, even in places that hold sham trials. How would Americans feel if the rule of law doesn't apply to them when they travel abroad? Why would you not treat guests the way you want to be treated? It's just bonkers.

Apparently DJT needed a publicity stunt and called Starmer in the middle of his Arsenal game. Capitulating. The only thing Starmer got was 10% tariffs on 100k luxury cars. Let's see how many they actually sell this year in a recession economy.

Markets continue to ignore information (uncertainty of the kind the Fed can't model), kinda like the reaction to Brexit. Beach for the next few years is really the best option if you could afford it.

Let's say the company overcomes technological hurdles to deliver robotaxis and robots at scale, the brand is in the mud. Would people get into Tesla robotaxis? I'm gonna bet on no. Would robotaxis be set on fire? Gonna bet on yes. Short of government bailout, this is a dead company to me.

I just don't see how EM spending more time at Tesla is going to be value added at all. Other than forcing quota and deadlines on other people, he's value destroying. Whistleblowers have gone public with how safety concerns are squashed. I would not get into a robotaxi if that becomes reality. 4/

EM started the call with a rant in support of DOGE. He's so unanchored from reality / dishonest / incompetent. I hadn't paid close attention before this, but based on his "work" at DOGE, I just don't see how he has any credibility at all. There's no reason to believe anything he says about Tesla. 3/

So there might or might not have been manipulation. We'll find out in the coming days. There have always been fanatics keeping the company unanchored from fundamentals. But the car part of the company is dead. Going forward, it's a company of imaginary businesses. 2/

$11.5 for a 3lb roast here. Hormone free. American farmers can try to compete.

Paul Revere was a silversmith and this is a teapot he made, now at the National Gallery.

That was the craziest herding. I assumed a lot of it was shorts unwinding and automated trading.

Belief in his personal greatness and contempt for people he can manipulate? After all, he's been an evil idiot his entire life and look how well it has worked out for him. Why change now?

Markets can deleverage slowly over a long time or violently over a short time. I currently don't have enough popcorn for this.

DJT will drag negotiations out to feed his ego. Inflation expectations can't be anchored. The way out of stagflation is unfortunately bringing down inflation first. We already tried everything else in the 1970s. This DJT/Fed showdown is gonna happen.

The trade deal with the UK should have been the easiest one to nail. The US has a surplus in both goods and services. There's nothing here to squeeze out. The fact that it hasn't been agreed to is a canary in the coal mine.

Markets not moving on news that DJF *might* fire Powell increases the likelihood of DJT actually firing Powell. Because who can convince him now that it's a bad idea? After all, his approach is to unplug the economy / trade / monetary order and plug it back in and see.
