Eze needs to be in the famous red and white next season. Top player.

Chanting for Gerrard as if he didn’t want to join Chelsea but stayed because he received death threats. ‘YNWA’.

Definitely made the right choice to skip this one. Next game I watch will be in August. I just want this slog of a season to end.

Benefit money at that.

Judging from your updates it looks like I made the right decision to skip this one. Season ended on Wednesday for me.

I’m not angry or upset. Missed chances, sloppy errors and dodgy refereeing…this match was like so many this season. Strangely, I feel kind of relieved that this season is over. It’s been a slog since the 3rd match vs Brighton. I’ve got no desire to watch any football until August. I need a break.

Question: Does Jover’s job remit only include attacking set pieces? Everytime we score one he’s front and centre but he doesn’t seem to be doing anything to prevent us conceding from them.

Another milk carton performance in a big game from our captain.

Arsenal v Barcelona, men’s and women’s UCL Finals. We’ll be there.

Saliba’s been so lacklustre lately.

Who’s that imposter wearing Raya’s kit?

We need to address Saka, he’s a disgrace and I don’t want him to play for our club ever again Charles. Those good people of Ipswich were absolutely right to boo his every touch after he had the audacity to be the victim of a shocking and dangerous tackle down the back of his achilles.

Fully deserved boos for Bukayo Saka…how dare he be the victim of a horrific, dangerous tackle to his Achilles. I’m embarrassed that he plays for our club.

Did he expect us to go there and play a 0-0-10 formation? Idiot.

Partey though…that booking was criminal

Charles…what the fuck was Partey doing? What an idiot.

PSG hanging on at the end after being 5-1 up on agg has done NOTHING for my pre-Bernabéu nerves.

Season’s been going for long enough now to realise that the PGMOL/Premier League have no interest in policing dangerous tackles and violent conduct.

Has the Premier League become boring to watch? Over coached, risk averse, formulaic. Every season I find myself watching less and less football. @gunnerblog.bsky.social @arseblog.com #ArsecastExtra

But if they consider that the contact continued into the area, then it’s a penalty. Incredibly soft of course but it doesn’t make MLS immune to criticism.

VAR/Referee doesn’t have a decision to make if MLS does his job properly. Errors like that are too common from him.
comment in response to

Let’s not hide behind VAR. We started the half terribly and it’s another error by MLS, just because he’s young and a Hale End graduate doesn’t make him immune to criticism. If Kiwior did that there’d be a meltdown.

Soft, yes. But once again MLS has created a problem for himself.

The same night Saka returns to the squad, Gabriel’s season ends. A sentence that sums up Arsenal 2024/25.

They have the most unlikeable collection of players in the premier league. Cuccurella, Neto, Sancho, Enzo, Ceicedo, Fofana…I could go on and on. All utter thunder cunts.

I was at the West Ham game, it was equally pathetic. But given the opposition today this felt much worse, we had the perfect opportunity to humiliate our old rival in their own decrepit stadium. And we failed miserably.

Just want this season to end at this point tbh. Been a slog the entire way.

That’s the most embarrassing result and performance of the season. Diabolical.

Got exactly what we deserved. No urgency. No tempo. No runners. No movement. We’ve let this game drift and paid the price for it.

Calafiori would be a perfect LCB or left wings back in a team that plays 3-4-3 or 3-5-2. For us though, he seems like such an anti-Arteta defender. Way too chaotic.

Time to talk about Odegaard. 19 league games, 2 goals (1 from open play), 3 assists. Cost us the FA Cup game with a missed penalty as well. His fall off this season is beyond pathetic.

Ayto, Edu, the Kronkes, Arteta, Garlick…they’re all to blame for the woeful squad building in the summer and winter transfer windows. Business end of the season and we’re starting Merino as a centre forward, what do we expect?
comment in response to

A year ago I would’ve never thought that but I wouldn’t be against it if we could get someone like Wirtz. The ‘he was injured’ and ‘he hasn’t got white and saka’ cards have been overplayed now.

Honestly, a Liverpool win’s the best result for us tomorrow. Title’s long gone, we just need to make sure we stumble into the top 4.
comment in response to

Absolutely. I’ve heard some justifying his shit displays by saying ‘well he doesn’t have White and Saka’. Nonsense. He should be able to contribute to games when they’re not playing.
