I lived in NY during Covid, and Cuomo was one of those very love em or hate guys. That was before he got outed as a sexual harasser and his brother burned his job over it. After that I don't understand his angle.

Agreed, but also tbf, Halliburton did this. The whole "fuck my haters" culture is the dumbest shit that allows someone like screaming A Smith to make it about him. Haliburton looks like an idiot without SAS existing.
Someday I hope we all make "fuck my haters" culture look as dumb as it is.

I think NFL's rejection of self policing is both safer for players, but also does leave situations to develop like this where usually the guy gets away with it.

I'm not ignoring it can work, I'm saying it usually does not work.
I also do not buy the premise they couldn't have won next year with Thibs. It's an unknown. People thought Reed couldn't win but who knows, mayhaps Philly would have won if he had another year. 🤷 It's all hypotheticals.

If you say so. Teams that tried to get over the hump by firing a coach is a constantly back firing strategy. Cowboys did it, Packers did it, Patriots did it, Lions did it with Caldwell, Lakers just did it, it's a tale as old as time.

Sometimes you take a step back and it turns out you step back off a cliff. Ask the Red Wings, ask the Chargers, ask every team who has gotten close then burned it down. You literally have a coach who now has experience with it, but no. Burn it down.

I've consulted with mutiple pro teams who outsource broadcasts and every one of them has eventually brought it in house. It is cheaper to hire a guy in Florida, but turns out he can't do anything when there's changes in Utah that he didn't get sent to him, and he can only see what's on camera.

Embarrassing. Deion keeps hurting his son. He needs to just let Shadeur be himself.

Kobe played in the Olympics, and FIBA plays différent. Honesty the most bland dumb shit and I expect it. It's a GOLD MEDAL AT THE OLYMPICS, no will to play for it is sad.

He gets the win, but it's been like two years since I saw him pitch bad in a rehab in ABQ and I just don't think he's got it anymore. One minute he's the promising guy from like 4 years ago the next he's just awful and giving up every hit. He's Kopek now, let him live that.

Is it art? Yeah. Is it good art? meh. What makes it interesting is something which can only be shown in slow-motion video.theres not really any voice to it. Nothing here makes it uniquely him. 4/10

I like that they're trying. The Orlovsky segments like this worked a lot better though, they need to 1. Get PK more comfortable using it, and 2. Make it make sense. This made no sense. I had no idea what I was looking at until it was a breakaway.

Lol, at charter school I went to a teacher called one kids parents and told them she was worried about him shooting up the school. She also called my parents to say I was depressed and suicidal, which was only half true.

Streaming is so bad now I need whatever HBO calls itself today to watch cycling. I needed peacock for rugby but not all of it, some is ESPN, but none has top 14, Amazon if I want cricket, espn for hockey but not all and USL, Apple for MLS.
Shit is unwieldy and I still get ads. Make it make sense.

Glad I'm not the only one annoyed by this. With soccer I'd switch to a Spanish stream, but here there's only English, French and Portuguese options :(

As sports go soccer appears to be the least stable for a coach/manager. You get your peps and Klopps, but then you also get PSG subbing in a new guy every year, Milan doing the same despite good results on the pitch.

As a Dodgers fan watching Yamamoto do what he did while never throwing first pitch strikes was sick, then dispairing to see it coughed up because we love to have no pitching.
They Won, so that's cool. They should plant Vesia in the earth and see if we can get some pitchers from the tree he springs

Spit water out my nose on this. Nailed em. The fact of the "non-Sherpa" existing is like if we tracked the best rounds by amateur golfers before pros.
Hedaline: Dan Thomas, banker, shot a one under par at August today
Burried: Mcilroy shot a - 7 to lead on Thomas's amazing day.

History does not support that thought, as this happens all the time, but also front loaded helps the player not the team, so I'm sure he'd be happy for that.

If you read past the headline, the issue isn't that they didn't think about it but they didn't think about going around the crappy folks in charge of the infrastructure for a decade. They're now trying to fix it after having issues for a decade.

And meanwhile I've been brainwashed by Jon Bois to wonder why Dave Stieb isnt in the hall when he's a nice guy who was really good at baseball. But fuck it, let's put the Black Sox and a child diddler in. That's our MLB.

At least 10 teams will be happy to pay him his worth. This is normal Bungles management being cheap, and other teams know it. The "others" this will really affect is other Dmen considering going to Cincy in FA. Bungles only spend on O now, I wouldn't go if I played defense.

I believe some people have real phisical reactions to gluten, but I also know many just have mental reactions because they want to believe they will get sick because they heard it's a thing so they make themselves sick.

Well for the OGs of the panic it's the Chinese. They just don't trust Asians. Then the others who don't like em started acting like the gluten free non-celiac folks making up pretend symptoms that are all in their heads.
