"No stone unturned, no pound unearned". Archaeology, human behaviour, philosophy. The Morbihan and the Cotswolds. I'm so unphotogenic that I enhanced my photo with ChatGPT. It's one of the hallucinations that occur with increasing frequency...

Labour values currently seem to include backing an illegal attacks on a sovereign nation and not condemning policies of assassination and genocide. No longer my Labour Party or one I recognise.

The photo of Trump and his henchmen is chilling - I can't think of a better word. These are the faces of the men seen in the dock at Nuremburg. I seldom express such a direct political opinion here but these are extraordinary times.

My mobile phone put itself into a cooling mode - which I've never seen before. I was surprised it didn't melt. In sunny Brittany it was about 38 degrees.

So they aren't paying fair taxes neither is their wealth cascading (trickle down doesn't work and wealth stagnates) so why worry about their threats to move? They are here because it's safeish.

A national wealth fund and a business bank doesn't actually take them very far from the neoliberal package that is part of Reeve's makeup. They are continuing 3P within the health service - it has largely proven to be an expensive nightmare. The private sector is detrimental to the NHS services.

We could start with government reform... I'm not sure why we aren't taking back Labour.

Every million of investors' profit is a million not spent on delivering healthcare. This government are continuing to go down the Thatcher economics route of performance and incentives. The only problem is that it hasn't worked - see privatisation of water - it's lunacy to continue.

Yep, here cherries are are cheaper than they've been for a couple of years. I'm getting geared up to make a lot of jam against the all-too-likely event of poor harvests due to drought.

I've never liked this column in The Grauniad. It seems to encourage a sort of voyeurism and is at best clickbait.
