Right, that is the original meaning of the word, trial and error.

It's a low bar but I'm sure Democrats can get under it.

I think "method" works fine but apparently this wasn't good enough for some academics. The original word is an adjective as I am sure you know. BTW I love academics.

Years from now we will look back on these six hours as the golden age of early 21st century literature.

Yes, and some fail with more (see summary of linked PDF in which Bahrain had 6% and did not succeed). It's a general guideline. More here if you are interested:

No knows more about this than Erica Chenoweth. Check out the video. Chenoweth and other scholars in field look at historical examples and try to codify what works and what doesn't, and why.

There's video of protesters trying to STOP provocateurs from smashing windows and starting fires during those demonstrations in 2020.

If it's the ANTI MAGA thing it's a reply bot. Posts replies like 3 times per minute. I blocked it.

Led me to an informative analysis on Sesko I hadn't seen. π Did not realize he was so fast. Some verticality in the center could shake things up.

I'd be fine if they moved all the games to Canada and Mexico. The least we deserve.

Watching House members rake these loathsome witnesses over the coals in hearings vs. the Senate and it's like they're in two different universes. With the occasional exception of Warren.

Khanna was MIA for some reason when the Dems moved for a vote to subpoena Musk in committee. The vote failed.

Oh so DOJ is now saying we need to jail persons who defy judge's orders? That is going to deplete their ranks considerably.

Auden removed those lines from the final version.

I think the opposite. He thought the lines naive in the aftermath of WWII and left them out for the same reason he left September 1, 1939 out of his collected poems. Which is what makes the use of them here so inapposite.

Whatever else, Auden removed those lines from the final version.

There has to be a study out there detailing how much the subsidized pricing of the USPS saves businesses and consumers each year over commercial alternatives.
I'd take the over on an order of magnitude north of $3.3 billion.
