Wife leaves to have a day at her moms w/kids and expects me to get a lot done but asks how my "Day off" was. I love her, but it's never a day off: I will always either get a lot done or procrastinate doing dumb things until I don't get anything done instead of just relaxing and having fun.

I successfully compiled my Hello World #rust project and am starting to build some small example projects to get ahold of the syntax and built-in pieces. Next up is exploring the world of pre-built libraries and pieces. Contemplating using this rust/axum tutorial to work on getting off wordpress.

I fired up this 60+ year old Lionel train my uncle got as a child around the tree tonight. My kids loved it. (They bought me that shiny M&Ms car as a gift!) Some minor repairs were required but it is chugging along now!
