The Israel lobbyists corruption is toxic and blatant. You're running to be the mayor of New York? "ARE YOU GOING TO ISRAEL?! WILL YOU SUCK OFF NETANYAHU WHO IS OUR LORD AND MASTER?" vm.tiktok.com/ZMSStcDfR/

Millar is not just a garbage person, he also produces shitty, shitty comics. He killed multiple series that I had been reading: The Authority, Ultimates, etc... Sorry that you didn't get paid.

Since the election, voters in red states have been wailing at the loss of federal funds. But they voted for this. Red states will still receive graft with military spending, but that has likely peaked as well. A nation that doesn't want to pay taxes can't afford the world's biggest military.

Yes, Trump is corrupt and incompetent. But Americsn conservatives also own this. They have been leading the charge to maximize looting and minimize accountability for decades. They control a media ecosystem aimed at getting people to vote against their own interests. And those people do.

It is not going to be that nation again. You can't fund a trillion-dollar military without a tax base. Increasingly, no one will want to buy American debt. Spastic tariffs and bad-faith dealing do not create allies. Or investors.

The Invincible show is just amazing. I was really hesitant when I heard that they would be producing an animation, but it has been just great. The Hickman comics are one of my favourite series and the show is fantastic. They know the material and what to spend time on, as well as what to cut.

I have the Harvest of Youth! Thanks for such a great and touching book.

Jason was also smart enough to just lie to Bruce about his murderous revenge against the rapist. You did good, Jason.

I just grabbed volume one of the Triangle era omnibus. I'm not going to get to it immediately, but I am looking forward to it. It's an era thst I know very little about.

I don't have a rainbow-themed image in my camera roll, but I do have this picture of Superman that is very colorful. Superman loves you just as you are. That's also his superpower.

I hadn't head of the DC Book if Pride. I'm ordering the boxed set.

I followed you just because you posted that. I fucking hate these culture warrior losers.

In a way, this is the answer. The AAA publishers want to produce a software product that they can hypermonetize to please shareholders. The game is only an economic product to maximize returns. I stopped buying AAA games long ago. I have hundreds of indie titles and some AA titles. They're better.

Marvel vs. DC and Amalgam were horrible and I refuse to lie about how bad they were. Below is an image from Marvel vs DC. It looks too stupid to exist, but it does. We are all the worse for it. This comic is so bad that God is still angry at humanity for creating it. These are the dark times.

When I was a kid, my neighbors let me read Superman vs The Amazing Spider-Man and Batman & The Incredible Hulk. 8-year-old me liked them. Since then, I have disliked every crossover that I have read. Oh wait, I read the X-Men and Teen Titans one when I was 13. That was pretty cool.

And when the hacks try to post on social media, fucking rake them over the coals. Let them cringe and whine about the hostile left. Never let them think that they haven't been utter failures. Give them no peace.

This is why Jake Tapper is rightly a disgrace. The country is collapsing into corruption, ruin and dictatorship and he wants to focus on Biden for his personal gain. It's not enough to treat just Tapper like the garbage that he is. Every media outlet that plays along needs to be excoriated also.

This is why media like the NYT will live forever in infamy. They desperately lied, for fucking months, about Trump leading up to the election. They pivoted as soon as he won, but the paper has lost all credibility. If it goes under, they'll want people to give a shit BUT THEY WON'T.

Stopping government scientists from publishing because the shithead in charge doesn't like, but cannot understand, their subject matters is prime evidence of this collapse. How long until entire knowledge-based industries decamp to other countries? www.politico.com/news/2025/05...

And they will be too poor, to sick and too broken to fix it. Peoples lives will be immeasurably worse than the previous generations and they will content themselves with cruelty as their prime source of gratification.

And now, faced with a choice to continue to thrive or to sink the ship by embracing bigotry and ignorance, they're going all-in on validating stupid bigots, driving away the intelligent, and not funding research. This will of course go disastrously badly.

Martha is Dead is the best example of what I'm looking for in a psychological horror. Itnus an exceptional game. Absolutely remarkable. store.steampowered.com/app/515960/M...

I really appreciate what Blooper Team are producing. I do appreciate horror titles, but I want a mature title with and extremely strong narrative and some mystery. 9 out of 10 of the horror titles that I pick up are forgettable.

I have also purchased and started the 2023 remaster of Layers of Fear. If you appreciate disturbing yet meaningful surrealistic environments, this one is for you. Once these are done, I'll probably bite the bullet and spend a fucking fortune on their Silent Hill 2 remake.

In Blair Witch, you have a German Shepherd companion. So, it's a psychological horror that features a dog. In other words, it's the best basis for a game ever. store.steampowered.com/app/1092660/...

I love your list. Not just because I've read everything that's on it, but because I completely agree. Especially about All-Star, Birthright and Kingdom Come. Those three are staggeringly great series. Classics.
