I think Orban did this too. He destroyed the media and turned it into 24/7 propaganda. Imagine only Fox News.

Going after NGOs is Putinism. Eventually, he used "tax police" to go in and smash up the HQs of any Russian NGO with overseas connections.

WTF: Feds were targeting Marcelo Gomes' father, pulled over his car, when it turned out the teen was the one driving it they arrested him anyway even though ICE wasn't looking for him! He'll "have a chance to argue his case before an immigration judge." What case?!

They figured out how to industrialize the fleecing of MAGAs. So sad.

UPDATE: Since I published, the waitlist website has added a segment reading “Magic Eden partnered with GetTrumpMemes.com to create the first and only $TRUMP Wallet”. This suggests it is indeed Fight Fight Fight LLC (Bill Zanker) behind it.

The deal raises additional regulatory questions, especially as decentralized finance apps are being explicitly carved out from regulatory oversight by Trump-championed crypto bills being considered in Congress as we speak.

Magic Eden and Trump have some history prior to this deal, with several executives attending his memecoin dinner in late May, and a partnership pertaining to Trump NFTs last year.

Details about the app are scarce, but it’s likely to rely on similar technology to the crypto trading app Slingshot, which was acquired by Magic Eden in April.

A Trump crypto wallet is only the latest in a long and ever growing list of Trump crypto ventures, which have raised alarms among ethics watchdogs, members of Congress, and even some of Trump’s crypto world fans.

Though the project has yet to be announced by either the Trump team or Magic Eden, a waitlist signup was briefly visible on the TrumpWallet.com domain, suggesting launch is imminent. Terms of the partnership, including which Trump entities are involved, are not disclosed.

It isn't true that "nobody is doing anything about it." Let's not dismiss the people who are resisting — or worse, blame them for not achieving a quick, easy victory on our behalf.
I'm frustrated too!
Everyone is under-equipped to resist systematic cruelty. It's why we need each other — & time.

and carried him back to South Carolina. In February 1851 agents arrested a black man in southern Indiana, while his horrified wife and children looked on, and returned him to an owner who claimed him as a slave who had run away nineteen years earlier."

"...no protection of habeas corpus, no right to a jury trial...professional slave catchers did not always take pains to make sure they had captured the right man nor did every judge go out of his way to ensure that a supposed fugitive matched the description on the affidavit."

Remarkable parallel between ICE and the marshals who kidnapped fugitive slaves in the 1860's. "Some of the first fugitives returned to slavery had been longtime residents of the North. In September 1850, federal marshals arrested a black porter who had lived in NYC for three years..

I am convinced they are Eric Prince's guys because police & Ice wear vests with labels. In March several articles reported Eric Prince went to the WH to pich his paid army could help w/mass deportation. What I haven't seen is the media asking the WH if he got a quiet contract from Trump.

As I stated before - ICE arrests conducted improperly and unconstitutionally endangers the constitutional rights of every American citizen - without the identity of the officer and Due process everyone is in danger- How else can anyone be safe, if we can not protect the least of us?

Just so were clear - When an arresting officer conceals his identity, its an illegal arrest and your violating that citizens constitutional rights .... and without "Miranda" & "Due Process" your violating the constitutional rights of "ALL" American citizens...

partly our *incredibly* strict libel laws, but prejudicing juries is a very serious thing. a lot of the time loads of stuff doesn't come out until the trial which could be years away.

I recommend against it, but if you insist, Ed Walker over on Marcy Wheeler's blog Empty Wheel did six entries on Yarvin recently. Summary: Yarvin thinks he is smart, but isn't. Here is the first entry:

All you really need to know is he once suggested liquifying the disabled to use for biofuel because they can’t be productive members of society in his view (ie they can’t be used as feudal serfs by the techno elite).

As someone who had unfortunate brushes with that part of the internet long, long ago while still in high school, I haven't fully gotten used to very-online people not knowing who this dude is.

As a Terminally Online Person, I'm both highly amused and severely depressed that people are becoming aware of Yarvin today.
