Walmart needs to make Trump tariff price tags for their shelves and they need to do it now. If Trump is blaming them it is time for Walmart to use their marketing money to tell their customers the truth. Rural areas depend on Walmart and they need to know that Trump is the one taxing them.

The stuff you mention is already a thing in my state and people are being denied housing because landlords abuse their power. They destroy people's credit for ordinary wear and tear in my area all the time. Certainly every state and locality is different, but in my area landlords are in control.

Here is the real issue, young families and single adults that need housing get a right of first refusal. If there is limited housing investors cannot buy it. If a community does not have a need for housing then investors can have it. That would help with the current housing shortage.

Nothing is risk free, but here is the problem. In my area landlords are competing with young families for houses. That drives costs up. We need more regulations on investment properties so that young families get the right of first refusal in our communities.

I know the costs. I have relatives that are landlords and they brag about their margins especially during Covid. They refinanced their debt and then jacked up rents at the same time. Can't have it both ways. These scumbags buy up inventory and raise the cost of housing.

Every renter in America should have a rent to own option. After making enough payments a renter should be able to own the apartment they have paid for. That would make landlords mad, but fuck them. Landlords are scumbags and they all know it.

I agree, if only laws were the way they used to be. My parents bought a 1000 sq foot house and it was awesome. In my city now they don't build small houses anymore. Very sad really. No place in America for hard working people anymore. They have to rent overpriced apartments now.

Exactly, the only way to drive home prices down is to build more housing across America and Republicans always block home building efforts by Democrats in Congress. Jimmy Carter helped my parents buy a house in 1979 with interest above 12%. There are no such programs to help young people today.
