and will find themselves having to pay full price for the files again.
The marketplace doesn't concern me as a power user that customize my own avatars and like to be able to use my files elsewhere, but i really see that as a customer side concern.

I was learning at a studio some years ago and got a cheap amazon one to keep training at home but i just hated it so much i ended up using it like 10 times. If you can afford it get a nice one.

I bought a "LUPIT POLE CLASSIC G2 QUICK LOCK POWDER-COATED 45MM" this year and am happy with it. The powder coated helps with not having reflections in vr.
Be careful with chrome as it can mess up with basestation tracking.

And after that is a matter of finding music and checking tutorials.
Then for streaming i send the audio from rekordbox to "VB-CABLE Virtual Audio Device." (downloadable in the voicemeter webpage) and use that audio output in OBS to send it to twitch or vrcdn (recomended, low latency)

As a newbie cant say much, but my experience so far was buying a FLX4 which is a very common beginner deck and it comes with a license for rekordbox (dj software) that activates when it's plugged in. Some people prefer rekordbox 6 rather than the last version (7).

I have released a patch to keep CyanTrigger running for now, because I care about the creators who use it. But long-term, the platform needs to invest in stable, documented, and supported tools. That is not something a solo community dev can patch forever.

I was wondering if having all of them in the same scene was better but it always feels too cluttered and may make unity slower if it has to load all of them.

I separate avatar by project, then outfits by scene, and then in the scene i got the picture, optimized and face tracking versions of it (or any other variant), that way i mostly keep 2 to 5 versions in the hierarchy and can do tweaks without worry.

Location (not sure) and age gated videos will still fail cause you can't log in or pass credentials, but for the ones that fail randomly (some people can see them but not others) that's usually the solution, not always.

Youtube will keep failing sometimes cause their anti-bot poopoo but it may fail less if you replace the yt-dlp.exe in C:\Users\[YOU]\AppData\LocalLow\VRChat\VRChat\Tools

Seems to work just fine except for the eye movement, so i'd discard most technical errors. What prefab are you using? some allow to disable eyelook from the radial menu, can also try to reset avatar, and delete the osc config for the avatar in AppData\LocalLow\VRChat\VRChat\OSC\usr_XX\Avatars

And it should be off cause most prefabs use VRCFaceTracking osc inputs, so if it's on it may be causing conflicts.

My point was that that quote was already true back then, the world was already flooded with unreliable information. They just wanted exclusive rights to control it. For it to be false they'd treat people considering other paradigms as misguided scholars instead of heretics.

they didn't have a problem with unreliable information spreading, they had a problem with not being in control of it.
Now everyone can spread their unreliable information, which i would argue is not good but still a lot better than what we had.
