This bill does not represent the American people and the House has not debated its provisions. Late-night bill markups, texts available only hours before voting, and legislative strategies so that no Democrat votes are needed. This is a bill born and passed in the proverbial smoke-filled back rooms.

Do Republicans really think that Americans want to increase the national debt and reduce Medicaid health benefits just so that millionaires can get huge tax breaks and pay for ICE to jail American residents with Hispanic backgrounds who have been hardworking people in the US for years?
