he called for the death of a 22yo activist but you’re more worried about the mean skeets from accounts with 1-200 followers?

Apparently I know more about Moral Philosophy than a NYT writer simply by watching The Good Place.

no, I didn’t. I said that the actual numerical monetary goal was not stated. Are you a bot? You keep repeating things that I’ve clearly stated over and over that I’m not even talking about.
JK I can’t read because I’m from the dumb state of Georgia.

Sorry, can’t read all that. I’m illiterate according to you

Dana Houle is a weirdo consultant who wants to talk shit online and won’t even go meet Ben Collins for lunch. The fact you just mentioned him kills all credibility lol please leave me alone I’m trying to enjoy my one day off as a Georgia resident that can’t read

Maybe dont imply that Georgians don’t read. Go away man, go write another book no one will read

yeah the Kat hate is wild. I haven’t brought that into this thread but it’s becoming obvious that the animosity is bc she’s a young successful woman that they “just don’t like” for some unknowable reason.

again, it’s not about a monthly goal. It’s that the goal is not ever stated. Idk how many times that has to be said. You’re being obsequious and pedantic and honestly you just seem petty and sad at this point. Especially for shitting on Georgia for no good reason. Byeeeeee

wow, weird shitty hit on Georgia lol. You’re clearly too upset to have a real conversation so I’m done here. Enjoy continuing to fight online for basic status quo Dems that use the same losing tactics they’ve been using for a decade. God forbid someone try something new and point out the difference.

the point is that a specific goal is not stated, and therefore can be changed and used to create false urgency for donations. Kat’s campaign is stating a specific goal for the quarter & donating every dollar after that. I don’t get why it makes you so mad that she’s pointing out that distinction.

Again, she didn’t say Biss was misleading directly or purposefully, I’m sure if she actually cropped an important part of the email that refutes her critique then someone will post it in full. Otherwise, you seem stuck on the least important part of her post, but keep at it buddy 🫡 I’m logging off

because you can always say you’re “close to your goal” if you never say what your actual goal is. Just like your replies to me, the goal posts will keep being moved, in the case of fundraising emails it’s used to create a false sense of urgency for donors to donate more.

Dude, read the whole thread she posted. You keep moving the goal posts. She’s specifically not accusing Biss directly. She’s pointing out issues with Dem fundraising tactics overall and how she’s trying to do things differently.

It’s odd that as a reporter you don’t understand the distinction being made or see anything even slightly misleading about not saying what the fundraising goal is. Again, if you have proof she cropped out a specific goal, then that would be different, but you don’t.

having a progress bar showing a fundraising goal is at 75% without saying what the goal actually is, is definitely misleading. And she actually says she doesn’t think Biss wrote this email and likely didn’t even directly approve it. her larger point is about misleading fundraising tactics.

lol you’re talking about the part of the email that wouldn’t state the fundraising goal, I’m talking about the body of the email that actually matters for what we’re talking about. But again, you have no proof you’re just deciding she’s manipulating this with no proof to share.

looks like the whole email to me, has the link at the bottom, but please do share if you know for a fact that Biss put the actual goal in the full email. Otherwise you seem to be making a lot of assumptions with no proof.

they won’t even say how much they want to raise in May and how much they have already raised. Why not?

where is the actual goal stated? The email just shows a percentage supposedly reached so far for a goal that isn’t even stated.
