Quit speaking to the choir, there's no a single republican on here.
Why don't you deliver some results? If you can't do that then at least tell us what you're doing. Tell us what we can do. You're annoyingly lazy. We need ACTION not vapid social media posts that accomplish absolutely nothing.

And yes sometimes you have to keep saying it over and over. I've never gotten anyone to stop eating Chick-fil-A by belittling them. I have gotten them to stop by showing them paper trails and directly addressing and showing the harm these funds are causing. Just be mindful of *how* to change minds.

Saying JK is slated to make $x from the series, then discussing what she actually does with the money she makes and what real life harm the organizations she's funding actually cause is a more effective initiative to invite people into taking your views into consideration.

My original thought on the issue was saying "you're a piece of shit if you watch the new Harry Potter series on Max." Accomplishes nothing. You've immediately and almost permanently turned off any interest the person you are addressing may have concerning your points about JK and trans rights.

I totally get what you guys are saying and, it's just that this stance is getting stale. People seem to be under the impression that any sizeable demographic of gamers think about trans rights when buying a video game. Like of course they should, but reality is they don't. So what do you do next?

lol I've been listening to and helping my trans friends *actually* START the CONVERSATIONS they think need to be had for well over a decade Mr. Internet stranger. I don't seek your or anyones validation because I talk it like I walk it. You don't know me nor any battle I've helped others fight.

It must be so great to be able to flaunt your moral ideals for others to see and admire but not be willing to lift a finger and put in some work to fight for them.
You can exclude yourself from this conversation if all you can offer are memes and petty lazy jabs. You aren't providing any insight.

Posting on social media isn't doing anything. You are a member of congress, report to us what your are DOING not what the problem is. We are well aware of the issues and also well aware that you aren't doing ANYTHING to solve them.

Should read about Daryl Davis and how thru meaningful insightful conversations and understanding his "oppositions views" he was able to change the minds of over 200+ KKK members into leaving the klan. It's not hard to challenge and change people's belief systems. It does take time and effort tho.

There's always setbacks and always will be, that doesn't mean you roll over and give up. Have to fight everyday for the things you believe in, persisting in your fight even when you lose sometimes is the only way to win. It's a very long, timely process that can feel hopeless but :

An intervention of englightment is psychologically necessary for acceptance and change. People used to be killed and shunned from society for being left handed. Humans are messy, but there are methods that work to change them. Moral high horses and insults aren't included in those methods.

And it is on trans people and their allies to fight, educate, change peoples minds about what the trans experience is like and how things people may not be aware of affect their lives daily. Every marginalized group has had to do it in history.
Humans are wired to exclude before they include.

Unfortunately that's kinda what the human condition boils down to when arguments are based around beliefs.
You may think it's easy to see that everyone should just be able to live their lives autonomously & that's a simple concept to grasp that's not worthy of much debate.
But it's not that easy.

That's why society is so cooked right now. There will always be two sides stuck hating each other until one takes the time to understand the other & then makes genuine attempts at enlightening the other side by slowly allowing them to begin to question their own beliefs, and changing them.

The internet thinks that you can just say you're a very bad person if you do x, so don't do x anymore or else youre a bad person case closed.
That's not actually how it works tho, you have take time to listen and questions peoples beliefs in a way that allows them to arrive to your point themselves

Definitely call JK out on her BS everytime, but taking jabs at bystanders will never rectify the situation & you lose any opportunity to have insightful discourse about the subject. Once you insult someone out of the gate they will never be open to listen to what you have to say on the matter again.

iPhones are made by child slaves in factories with suicide nets because too many people try to kill themselves at work making them for 18 hours a day.
Feeling morally superior over things like telling people who want to play a video game they are transphobic will not bring allies to any table. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ

Coke releases some oddball flavor every summer in the states.
There was a coconut - vanilla flavored coke in 2023 that was AMAZING.

Yeah if they picked some like public school science teachers or some notable everyday women in STEM to give them a once in a lifetime experience this whole thing would be completely different.

I really hope this is the beginning of the end of celebrity, rich people obsession. From the Trumps to the Kardashians, I don't know how people can be captivated by these loser jabroni's anymore.

It's so incredibly cartoonishly out of touch. Stuff involving space always has a sorta automatic sense of "wonder" and "awe" attached to it. Even those dumb Red Bull daredevil jump / parachute videos. This is just dystopian.

Christmas is a state of mind. Fly in to see them the second weekend of January when flights are super cheap. There's nothing wrong celebrating "Christmas" on a different day or week.

Her trying to justify having personally chosen a known rapist to produce her last album that didn't even have ONE good song on it was pure cringe and was a spectacle to watch.
