And none of them has a President who attempts to humiliate visiting heads of state on worldwide tv only to make himself look stupid.

Most saw it as a protest vote against the Tories. Now Reform are using the same tactics against Labour and it looks like the gullible are falling for it all over again. Certainly the media are giving Reform a disproportionate amount of coverage to push their agenda.

How many of us can name a single way our lives have improved as a direct result of Brexit? Now Reform are making similar ridiculous, often illegal, uncosted claims to try to get into power. We are surely not dumb enough to fall for that again, are we?

What was the outcome? ThiS was in 2016.

We were repeatedly told that Brexit wouldn’t affect our freedom of movement. They lied. Labour should be working on getting the restrictions on freedom of movement lifted for EVERYONE, not just the young. If they achieve that, they mi get just get a second term.

I hope you are right, but the polls say otherwise. Let’s see if they are right, for once.

I wonder how many of Trumps mates bet that the Dow would plummet before he announced the tariffs? #insiderknowledge

The first major party to adopt rejoining as a policy will win by a landslide. Sorry not including Lib Dems!

It’s almost like they are having a competition to see which of them can say the most ridiculous thing that their gullible supporters will believe. Just about everything that comes out of Trumps mouth would appear to be a contender.

If they can’t agree a peace deal that benefits Ukraine and penalizes the aggressor, they should be asked to leave Europe.

“Trumps statements are not intended to be historically accurate but to shock Europe into action” - Boris Johnson making excuses for Trumps lies. Who would have thought it? How does this work then? As an expert on lying himself perhaps the disgraced ex PM can explain?

7. Starmer is in an unenviable position haven taken over from a disastrous Tory 14 years. On top of that he is having to contend with a daily swathe of criticism and misinformation from the predominantly right wing media.(BBC,Sky,GB News, X and just about all the papers except Guardian and Mirror)

6. All governments have to make unpopular choices, in the best interests of the country. Just because we don’t agree with one or two of those choices, it doesn’t mean we turf them straight out before they have had a chance to prove to us whether the rest of their manifesto was successful.

5. It’s unimaginable at some time in the future that someone could make a case for a return to first past the post. After consideration I’ve changed my mind about PR. I was a supporter but I think the negatives out weigh the positives.

4. PR may well be a more democratic way to allocate the vote share, but it may not result in a better society for us all. Rather more political infighting instead of actual government. Once PR is introduced, there is no going back.

3. No matter what your opinion is of Labours policies, this type of PR does not seem like the most efficient way to run a country. Whilst all the wrangling, and new elections are going on, important work is not getting done.

2. But we need to see, and feel the benefits. If we had PR, Labour would have been forced to form alliances to govern. As soon as they introduced an unpopular policy, the alliance would collapse and they would be forced into a u turn or a new election.

He is probably doing Starmer a favour. If an outsider turns on one of our own, our first instinct is to rally against them. Irrespective of politics. It’s the British way. We don’t like bullies.

Of course there are more billionaires interested in sponsoring the Reform Party. It’s who they were formed to represent. Con the poor, enrich the rich.

Why are we reposting this man’s posts?
comment in response to post
True. Many of them were, and we lost the vote. Doesn’t mean we should all continue to be punished though.

Can you negotiate an OAP mobility scheme while your there too? So our pensioners can avoid the cold winters and relieve pressure on the NHS?
