Another consequence of canceled games and studio closures: It kills innovation. A variation of the Nemesis System could've been huge for a game like this and since it wouldn't be patented (like the Shadow of Mordor version) other games could've taken it even further. What a damn shame.

In reference to the Cliffhanger Games closure: If EA chooses to focus only on "significant growth opportunities" but still fails, doesn't that mean they just suck at running a business? They better knock it out of the park going forward or they're gonna look incompetent on top of being assholes.

Man this fucking sucks. I know a few folks that were working on this. I hope they land on their feet. Also, extremely disappointing that we'll probably never get a standalone Black Panther game. Time to go back and play the War for Wakanda DLC from Crystal Dynamic's Avengers game.
