To which part? Everyone crashing into the box and leaving a PSG man on the edge of the 18 unmarked is good positioning?
comment in response to
post
I dunno, the clearance needed to be made and was good enough that the team should have been better positioned to respond.

Yeah but, didn't you hear what "they say"

Not to mention Rice suspended for the first leg of the semifinals.

So stupid

If we play the exact same way, we should win.

It would maybe be Odeggard, but up by 3 goals and with 45 minutes to go, he is to important to our spacing and press.
comment in response to

He's done alright with how divey Madrid have been. The penalty on Rice was soft for sure though.

This is a super complicated topic that this platform probably can't support a dialog. I understand wanting a hero to defeat the obvious risks inherent in unbridled capitalism, but the China model ain't it. The European model seems hopeful. But U.S. citizens need to stop being patsies to the elite.

Don't even give PGMOL that excuse. They fail to protect premier league players no matter the shirt. PGMOL is shit.

The thing is, he is not totally wrong. China is a bad actor. The problem is when you are an idiot and start a trade war with friendly nations that generally play by the rules.

They were plastic Man City fans. I guess we shouldn't be surprised.

Maybe, but if need to go over a press, then we really don't have anyone besides Merino as an option.

I guess it is rude of Arsenal fans to expect to not have to overcome complete bullshit calls.

Funny how they say "America first," but the actually well-being of the U.S. and its citizens is a distant 2nd behind their own wealth and power.

If I remember correctly, it was an abandoned puppy that was not able to be completely re-wilded, though it does roam free. I believe it was given to him by authorities? So maybe he just knew a guy or had a background.

Apparently he/she was shamed into removing the post. Now I am curious about what was said.

Usually, it's a non-call that would be a foul anywhere else on the field. Arsenal get called for a penalty that has been a non-call everywhere else on the field in the same game.

Wouldn't it be a tarrif on inbound U.S. prayers?

From what I can tell, marking in the box has not been a strength this year for Arsenal. Good thing we have been good at limiting the number of those chances.

Like a new signing!

I rarely play the wind up merchant because, like you, I find it all hard to take on many topics. The original post's promise of calling anyone an idiot that blamed it on Arteta was too much to pass up. Come on Arsenal!

I am just hoping no surgery at this point
Maybe "overplayed" in terms of the the entire year with no real offseason. Injuries are not completely avoidable. It's like hurricanes and and climate change. Hard to blame it on any one storm, but the larger statistics point to a real issue.

I used to be like you, holding onto facts, figures, and logic. It was only when I let go and let it all just be about fitting my own #narrative that I leaned to be truly free.

I don't know if the link works, but this podcast by Football Vision was an interesting listen about injuries.

Maybe if Arteta learned how to rotate and manage minutes, it wouldn't be a problem.

How does he not have a yellow at least?

Subs and formation change has not really worked.

To be fair, tha bar has always been higher for corners vs open play (rightly or wrongly)

Has to be something we don't see on the training pitch I guess.

How about Zirkzee throwing the ball into the crowd in the goal kick?

Your reverse jynx on the game is going well.

Was it not blocked and new passage of play?

It looked worse in real time. A soft yellow but hard to complain if given though.

Zero chance he is on at the start of the 2nd half.

Very dangerous. Extended exposure can lead to radiation burns. Better stay inside until it passes.

Don't worry, as Repunlican Speaker Johnson said, it can all be resolved by reducing "fraud, waste and abuse" in the system. And before you look for EviDeNCe and fACtS supporting this. Johnson already has all the evidence you can expect from our decision makers: "We all know it intuitively."

What do you want them to do? The proverbial "we" voted Republicans into power in the legislative and executive branch. And Supreme court is at best partisan, if not bought off.

I think part of it is how far up our keeper is. Creates goal scoring opportunity if we lose the ball on halfway line.
comment in response to

I feel like our marking in the box has been suspect all year. We just give away so few chances so it is not a bigger talking point.
