@thoughtsnations.bsky.social I feel like conservation has already made up their mind, can you help this old settler with where the best place to contact is to voice concerns? This bear needs a new home where he can roam! I’m so tired of us as a species & how we treat this land & all it’s inhabitants

Oh yes...I like her a lot too.

I know the NDP doesn’t have any money and Singh really tanked them, but hopefully they can get it together with a strong new leader soon. Gonna be too long a road back for them though I fear. Unless Wab… (hey, a person can dream!!)
comment in response to post
For sure. And I said back then I would never forgive them for it. It was the worst time possible for them to do anything but come together. I became concerned learning the close personal relationship of Freeland & Carney.

Thank you. Subscribed to emails now as well.

For sure some of them did, ie Freeland. But I didn’t see it from Anand, Gould, Joly and a few others. Not happy at all.

Thanks for this link!

He certainly did sell his likability. Why do you think there aren’t highly regarded Liberal MPs speaking up?
comment in response to post
I mean I knew he’d lean conservative but less pp/harper so less scary. I am disturbed at the pushing through bills that could have serious consequences.

I feel without a party these days. Lifelong NDPer but Singh disappointed me. Eby disappoints me. Only voted Liberal once, in the election previous to this, though I did think & hope PMMC wouldn’t disappoint. Definitely better than the alternative at this point, but a disappointment.

I hope I live long enough to see him become Prime Minister one day. I understand you’ll wanna keep him a while longer but maybe one day!

I couldn't agree more!

Sadly they are pretty vocal about spreading their illogical opinions that vaccines and tick/flea and worm prevention is the cause of every health issue a dog has. Many just flagrantly ignore any laws or protocols, including taking their dogs to vets.

Worked there for 3 years & saw a lot of movies, many, many times. Never got tired of Lady Sings the Blues Jesus Christ Superstar Fiddler on the Roof & Elvis on Tour. Also loved McCabe & Mrs Miller (Leonard Cohen sound track), Harold & Maude soundtrack by Cat Stevens) & of course Blazing Saddles!
comment in response to post
Lady Sings the Blues was one of three or four of my favourite movies waaaay back in the day when my first job was at a local cinema.

Massively disappointed & not for the first time with Carney & the Libs. I returned to my roots & voted NDP this time, mainly because she had a better chance of defeating Aaron Gunn, but also I liked her better than the Lib candidate in my riding. That said, I was fully behind Carney & feel fooled.
comment in response to post
Fool me once. Until recent years, I was an NDP supporter through & through. Wasn’t happy with Singh (who I did support in the leadership way back). Voted Liberal for the first time in the election before this last one. This time, while Carney had me fooled into thinking he’d be decent, I voted NDP
comment in response to post
I think many of us are feeling the same. Fool me once, PMMC!

My only regret to leaving Saskatchewan (aside from some people of course), was not leaving sooner.

I’ve been doing this for several years… nice to virtually meet another FluWatcher! 👋

Heartbreaking. 💔 I’m so damned sick of the increasingly rampant and flagrant stupidity and selfishness of the human race.

It was definitely the photo I immediately recognised! I always enjoyed your content.

And thanks for the follow back. I think we used to follow each other at that dark place!

It will be up to the Battle River/Crowfoot voters, let's hope they all read this poignant take: bsky.app/profile/dben...

If you are not happy that Poilievre is living rent free at Stornoway while not being a Member of Parliament then let the NCC know your thoughts. I did. bsky.app/profile/flyi...

Is there a source for this being authentic? It would be excellent if he actually said it, but I can’t find a source.

I’m with you. I’m all out of patience for those who lack any resemblance to having any moral fibre whatsoever. There was a time I used to waste precious energies trying to understand & offer respectful counterpoints but life is much too short and they prove repeatedly they don’t care.

It’s really a terrific show. Looking very forward to season two.

Seeing myself in this article has somehow made me feel better about how I grew up! Thank you for sharing.

Nah… he doesn’t possess a modicum of self awareness, nor does he have any morals. Narcissists are incapable of embarrassment and apology.
comment in response to post
Yes, he has. This is one I hadn’t seen before.

Thank you for sharing. My father was bipolar and an alcoholic. Life would have been better had there been a better understanding and more help for people struggling with mental health issues back then, but there’s still a long way to go.

Sadly, because our system allows it, this creep will take advantage of it. It appalls me that his party, the “fiscally conservative” no less, are ok with it and that anyone else is excusing it. It’s absolutely abhorrent.
comment in response to post
Yes!! We need to take a collective deep breath and focus on who and what deserves our anger. Personally, I plan to mail my Reforma/Con aka IDU newly elected MP & voice my concerns regarding their “fiscally conservative” ideals in doing this, along with the lack of security clearance of their idol.
comment in response to post
Lots of emotions involved I think? My frustration isn’t with Carney. It’s with those propping up a person who thinks he is entitled to whatever he wants to take, including the media. I do hope that there is legislation passed quickly whereby a leader of a party must have security clearance. Period.
