Microsoft could make the world a better place by 20% if it just made teams not have ā€œteamsā€ and treat messages as a message (not a post) and removed the idea of a thread.

I’ve never been able to get genuine dev insights from any of the social network platforms. The best developer conversations I have are with my 1st level connections on Discord and Slack. I tend to have lots of questions and require fast comms feedback to get something useful to me.

I read a book where the author made the point that the earth is literally trying to kill is everyday. We live only because of our ability to explain things.

The way I think about it is there are times to be Athens and times to be Sparta. Now’s the time for Spartans.

I’m a developer consultant at this one. But as a dev manager, I saw similar behavior at GameStop and Home Depot. So it feels common to me.

I’m looking for both. I see posts about vibe coding, but I can’t tell if it’s conjecture because of a few posts like the one you refer to or if there’s real world examples of apps being built and getting real customers.

Got any examples of this happening outside of POCs?
