I have a long history of making bad decisions. Which explains the abundance of great stories I can tell.

In a very red county of less than 35k population in rural California there were around 200 people, and massive support from passerby. Peaceful even in the face of MAGAts flipping off the US flags that were waving... Gives me hope!

Thank you Senator. Even prouder to be a Californian today because you are standing up for us.

Not just a California Senator. A UNITED STATES SENATOR.

California's Senator. My Senator. They hate us. The feeling is mutual.

What makes you think the left doesn't have guns?

Pretty sure much of Santa Barbara county (home of Santa Maria) is cool with this.

Get the LAPD in line Mayor. Your thugs are the bad actors right now.

I know. And that sucks because she's a wonderful person doing good things for people in the community she lives in...

So you'll be sending a sternly worded letter today then, right?

Mallory is freaking awesome and has been for decades. Spent a week working with her at a skydiving world record event in 2005. Doesn't surprise me at all that her and Lamb Chop are on the right side of history.

Ummm... aren't all earthquakes sudden? I haven't been through one yet where we've gotten any notice? Smh

Watching the current protest in LA. They are peaceful. They have every right not to be. But they are peaceful. Respect.

How is breaking the resources/logistics local agencies use going to help anything? Angelenos need those local resources/logistics available for other non-protest related things occuring throughout the city - fires, earthquakes... And you want to break it? That's risking innocent lives.

Exactly. While there were some LAPD officers doing f-ed up shit, LAPD was not a part of the raids that started everything. They weren't helping ICE at Home Depot or schools or businesses. They were doing crowd control in their city. So the governor doesn't have to call in the NG to help...

No. The nazis see that, they'll jump right in saying it's beyond what local authorities can handle. That's the last thing we need. Protest the federal jackboots. Work with local and state authorities. Yes, even the f-ed up LAPD.

Is there any video of/from protesters on the freeway being affected by tear gas? Those look like smoke canisters & there doesn't appear to be anyone reacting like they just got hit with gas. CHP is a CA agency. CA citizens need the facts about this.
comment in response to post
Actually, it was the CHP that cleared 101.

Sheriff Deputies, not CHP. Just standing there, providing crowd control.. Not inciting, not reacting, not attacking the protesters, accepting the taunts and insults. ACAB, but these appear to be far more disciplined than any of the federal jackbooted terrorists.
