It’s more like when FSG took over Liverpool. Had to make a series of tough decisions to make up for dire mismanagement. Made mistakes along the way, but ultimately had the clubs best interests at heart and found success, eventually. You don’t get to Salah without Borini and Aspas.

Ferdinand was superb the one time he went in goal for Utd. Bale as overlapping defender, Scholes, Hoddle behind Coisty.

Books, hobbies, cooking, walking. Grief is so hard, but manageable, eventually.
Will be thinking of Jan on Sunday for the trophy presentation. He would have loved it!

Good place, that. There’s a few decent craft beer bars around there.

If you get a £200 bonus do you immediately spend it, or do you save it for a rainy day?

It is until they have any policies. Anti-immigration is not a policy.
They know. They like it about as much as you do, but have to play the long game and hope it works.
It’s not.
It does, but not hugely.
They do.
It’s not, but it is bloody difficult.
I’m right with you on this…

Is that not what you were expecting then? It’s absolutely what I was expecting.

What were you expecting? Most of these elections are in Tory heartlands, where Labour hold very few seats. Incumbent govt’s always lose seats in local elections (and by-elections).

The game that gave me real confidence that this team could win it all was away vs Milan when we totally dominated. Following that up with a 3-0 home win against a Bournemouth team that were flying at that point just enhanced that feeling. 2-2 at Arsenal secured the league.

I was shocked at the time (although that have something to do with it being just gone 4am over here at the time!), but looking at it today, I think it’s a great move. If Vance, Peyton and Payton were all happy, then I’m fine with it. Broncos have, without doubt, the #1 D in the NFL.

I’ve always thought that Desmond and Molly are the same person. Des by day, Molly by night.

Yes, I maybe could have worded that better. I wasn’t implying a “change” just that the ruling clarified the definition.

Nah. Absolutely batter them. Salah on 35 league goals by the end of it. New PL record. Mac with 7 assists.

Thoughts on taking Henderson/Hampton at 20 and Skattebo at 51? Shores the backfield up for years alongside Audric and Jaleel…

“I call him the ‘Evangelical Priestess’. He goes around saying his words and converting the populus to his demonic sect with his long hair and he wears a dress. Soft. And sad. Person, woman camera, TV. I am the bigliest!”

I think it’s pretty clear. Prior to last week, a “woman” in the eyes of the law was “someone that identified as a woman”, whereas now it’s defined as “someone that was born female”. Starmer was correct (in the eyes of the law) with his previous stance and is as equally correct since the SC advice.

Fowler scored a belter with his right in front of The Kop against Villa in the late 90’s. Went straight through Enckelman.

First one I am a hundred percent behind.
Taxing billionaires only seems to force them out of the country. Just to name a few that have moved out to avoid the current tax regime (let alone an increased rate) - Branson, Dyson Ratcliffe.

It’s not a cut-and-dried issue (as are very none). You can’t just remove the cap without the ability to find ~£3bn per year to pay for it. So what do you cut? How does that affect people? What are the viable alternatives?

How would you fund it? Stop feed school meals? Defund the NHS? Cut defence spending? You need to find ~£3bn per year. Good luck.
