This is a really wonderful write-up explaining how I feel about Labour right now

Both science and mental health literacy are tools of empowerment. You can’t be empowered about your health decisions if you rely on misinformation, pseudoscientific propaganda, and conspiracies.

Studies show people who boycott individuals, events, companies, and nation states complicit in genocide are on average 1000% better looking, more intelligent, more appealing, more interesting, and more honourable than those who do not

Things are kinda rough at the moment but reminding myself to find the small joys in life.. like my parents’ puti Mačka enjoying a moe on the warm floor in front of the fire

This whole thread and the actions of the assistant speaker have me infuriated beyond tears. In the words of Rawiri… how miserable.

As somebody who has been covered by sensitive claims for 10+ years now I can say with my full chest that ACC and their treatment of me & my claim has become increasingly more hostile in the past few months. This is a calculated attack on AFAB. People are already leaving treatment over this hostility

Listening to and participating in the worldwide critical media commentary about the dire wolf 'de-extinction', one thing struck me. Indigenous voices, which have a vital role in this debate, were largely silent, leading me to co-write this theconversation.com/return-of-th...

Huge win for Māori in research yesterday!! I’m so privileged to know so many incredible people who are dedicated to making Aotearoa a better place ❤️ I was lucky to go through honours with Tim, Shelby and Olivia and work alongside Shelby and Olivia this year as Tuākana mentors helping tauira 🫶🥹

I wrote about learning R as a humanities student—how intimidating it felt at first, how I got past the fear, and what these tools can actually do for our work. hallieknipp.net/2025/05/06/c... #DigitalHumanities #GradSchool #RStats #HumanitiesCoding #AcademicLife #DigitalHistory #dh

✅ Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Psychology 🥳🎉 ✅ Frantic air kisses to my whānau and co-supervisors Suzanne Purdy and Hineatua Parkinson 🤣🤭 Pics to come!

All prepped and ready for my Honours Grad tomorrow! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve set my hair - I have no idea how I’m gonna sleep tonight 🤣 fun fact- before the pandemic I was a bridal hair and makeup artist specialising in pinup/ vintage! I feel a bit like my old self being all dolled up again

All the reasons kids should be off social media can be extended to adults as well 🤷🏽‍♀️ the kids are not the problem the companies are

I keep putting this off because Current Events but I can't any longer: it's the 2025 Marsden PhD stipend graph! 🧪

Not only is this true, there are 33 whole-ass mentions of this in the script and each one is freaking hilarious whills.nu/4/sw4.html#h...

As Eru Kapa-Kingi has said, if you wanna be able to tell your mokopuna that you helped sued this #CoC govt, add your name as a Claimant (for tangata whenua) or as a supporter (for tangata tiriti) to the #ToitūTeTiriti Claim. how good does that feel?! 🔥✊ ✍️ ➡️ forms.office.com/pages/respon...

One of many perspectives on why basic / foundational / fundamental research matters. Our current govt's obsession with short term profits and industries past their use by date is not a pathway to a prosperous future for the country. #NZPOL

All of a sudden it’s so easy to respect someone’s name change. Almost as if it was never hard to begin with. ❤️ #transrights #pope #vatican #lgbtq

When your autistic special interest is music and your favourite band release a new album you have to wait for the perfect moment to do a full first listen (even if it means waiting almost 48 hours). Galaxy light and sound system from the comfort of my bed… see you all in 56 minutes

In Te Ao Māori, without women & the contribution they make to the iwi and hapū, THERE IS NO FUTURE. “Ko te wāhine, ko te whare tangata ā mua”. #nzpol

It's never too late to break up, quit, come out, move, transition, divorce, change your life, start something new. If you choose to stay with something that makes you miserable, you owe yourself a better justification than sunk cost.
