Again we will most likely kill it on Monday and it will be awesome when it happens. But it just feels a little overtuned vs where you guys have taken us on this journey thus far. Challenging is fun, but I also believe it should be fair. And it doesn’t feel fair at the moment.

on the third lockout? Sure I think a wall there is fine, but damn it’s tight. Another 1 min on the enrage timer would do a lot for many guilds. I don’t think it requires much more than that. If we sacrifice loot quantity to be in a combined almost 40 man at least make the raid doable within reason

With almost double the required players in the raid. 20-25 man guilds have zero chance unless they are top 1% of players. That’s just not what the majority of your SoD player base is looking for. We don’t want to wait weeks to get the dps boost needed to beat these fights. Last boss in the raid

Classic+ future raiding and to see what the player base can handle and that’s fine, but I will say many guilds are cracking. People didn’t sign up for this level of difficulty to show up at the very end of SoD. I feel like we should be able to beat the mechanics and get within an enrage timer

Have 37 ish people for that raid night and we are going to pick up more gear before the, but the point I’m trying to make is this fight seems overtuned to a point that it doesn’t feel fun beating the boss mechanics to wipe to a tight enrage timer. Maybe you guys are using SE as a pressure test for

Ever play WoW? No. Are we the most skilled? No. But I will tell you that on our last attempt we all but mastered the mechanics as a raid group just to wipe to enrage with just 30-45 secs of more dps needed to finish it out. We will most likely kill it Monday night without any nerfs as we should

Some tier bonuses in the raid things will become a lot easier, but my guild spent 3 hours (14 wipes) on Council last night and our last attempt we got to 5.2% for the combined health of the bosses before we wiped due to enrage. This was with a group of 34 people. Are we the most optimized group to

That’s cool. I appreciate the reply! I will say again the content in the raid is fantastic. Love the difficulty. We are 3/8 with a 6.5% on Mason last night. Go back in again tomorrow to see if we can get at least 5/8 before reset. Thanks for the hard work and transparency!

We went in last night and we killed priest and knight captain to get rid of confession and Calvary, but we still had Calvary and didn’t get infantry. According to blue post we should have had Infantry as a required one this week? Unless I am misreading the blue post guide to Beatrix. Please advise

Thanks for the clarification! We did see less health on the mini bosses and we one shot Beatrix! Thanks for addressing it. They must have not reset. One other thing we noticed is the Beatrix blue post seems to be wrong about the empowered mini bosses this week.

I do them every reset. Acquiring reals is working for it. There can be multiple sources bro it’s not going to hurt you in any way.

@aggrend.bsky.social we only got to experience the first and second boss last night before we called it because of time. I will say that pre nerf Beatrix was stout! Excited to get back in there tomorrow. Nice work on the the theming though for sure! Killer vibes and the whole raid is ready for more!

Thanks dude! It’s more the rune changes that are the major concern! I can’t state it enough that I have had more fun with SoD then any version of the game and I really would like to finish it up playing the same playstyle that I have played almost the entire time. Thanks for the acknowledgment.

The healer we are and then a rug pull in the final hour. I am one of the biggest advocates for SoD. I think you guys have done a fantastic job and I really love maining a mage healer. I am a GM and I have spent the better part of 1+ years of my life grinding for this moment. Please reconsider 🙏

I couldn’t have been more excited to finally reach this brand new tier of content and then I see out of nowhere that the class and playstyle(frost mage healer) is being completely reworked and 90% of healing mages are completely against the changes. Why make these changes this deep in the season

Bro desperately need some attention on these mage healer changes on the PTR. Have mained mage healer since phase 2 and have spent over a year working my way into what I feel is an awesome play style. Mage discord is on fire. These changes kill our playstyle. Nerf is fine but don’t change our loop!🙏

Also were these adjustments actually made? We weren’t able to find any mechanisms to provide for less priests and less tanks. We went as two raid teams combined this week so it wasn’t a big deal, but in the future it might be. TIA!

My group is very reasonable and overall loving SoD and there was a lot of grumbling last night. The hotfix didn’t go far enough. Take a good look at it when you can please! Stoked for Naxx and beyond! Thank you for all that you do!!

We went as a raid group after AQ last night and completed an invasion cycle in Burning Steppes. The whole thing was OK up until the final part when the crystal dies. Feels bad to sit there for 30 mins with 25 players and get nothing because other groups swarm in last second to get the summon!
