This wedding photo looks like divorce.

NEW: Almost as soon as the Supreme Court released its ruling limiting the ability of judges to block President Donald Trump's plan to end birthright citizenship, challengers brought new legal claims seeking the same result by a different means. More details: www.nbcnews.com/politics/sup...

In my coverage of Trump 2.0 litigation so far, the state AGs largely haven't been seeking nationwide injunctions, and I've already covered one notable nationwide class action injunction on passports for transgender Americans. It won't affect everything and it can be worked around in some cases.

Y'all: we have to welcome Trump voters into the tent! Me:

I can't tell if it's because I'm too NYC focused but does it feel like the news cycle spent more time crashing out on the fact that NYC picked a brown Muslim dude as is primary candidate then it did on a right wing extremist who shot 2 Minnesota legislators killing one, her husband and dog?

Just reading about how Tom Petty, in his final concert before he passed away in 2017, honored trans activist Alexis Arquette and voiced his support for LGBTQIA+ people generally. People often say "separate the art from the artist," but it's really something when artists are genuinely good people.

Living Colour #TinyDesk concert now up! livingcolour.com/home/blog/75...

You guys, LinkedIn just told me that I might be a good fit for the Chicago Bears' Vice President of Community and Social Impact, so, I got that goin' for me. Which is nice.

I know a guy called "Bruce from New Jersey" who thinks the president is a traitor.

Weird how all these journalists who hyperventilate over a mayoral candidate who calls himself a democratic socialist can't bring themselves to care about the fascist in the White House.

One Lambda Legal staffer is reflecting on how love and courage shaped their path to marriage, ten years after the landmark Obergefell v. Hodges decision. "Queer love is still a radical act – and I’ll never stop fighting for it." – Liz Ternes tinyurl.com/2ym5p2kb Photos by Chelsey Pas 📸

A lot of very smart commentators -- specifically, older white men -- are obsessed with age to an annoying degree. If you like what a candidate stands for, just say so. If you think a candidate is bad, ditto. But, I promise you, you're not going to regain your youth by preening about "gerontocracy."

Is it time to break this out?

I know a lot of people are really mad right now, but, yes, refusing to vote for Kamala Harris was a terrible, unforgivable mistake.

I'm not mad at people who criticize Democrats. I'm not mad at people who criticized the last few Democratic presidential nominees. Criticize anyone you want; that's your right. I'm mad at people who couldn't bring themselves to make the obvious choice in 2016 and 2024. You had no excuse.

Trump starting new wars in his second term was just as obvious as Trump ramping up drone strikes in his first (yes, he ordered significantly more drone strikes in 4 years than Obama did in 8). Yet people on the left and right were willfully blind to this fact, even though we warned them.

Raise your hand if you haven't committed any war crimes today.

The Clash will always be my favorite band, but between Death, the MC5, and the Ramones, punk rock was born in America.

50 years ago today ‼️ Talking Heads supporting The Ramones make their stage debut at CBGB, New York City, June 20, 1975 #punk #punks #punkrock #talkingheads #cbgb #newyorkcity #history #punkrockhistory #otd

The conservative movement is lying about basically every empirical "debate" of our time, from climate change to voter fraud to vaccines. Why is it so impossible for reactionary centrists to contemplate the possibility they're lying about trans healthcare too?

Happy Juneteenth! A holiday of Liberation, & Unsuppressed TRUTH.

Joe Strummer said that hip-hop picked up where punk left off and ran full-steam ahead.

Sometimes this account is a little too on-the-nose.
