Whatever it takes to stop them was in November.

When people are like “oh if Zohran wins the GOP will make a socialist the face of the Democratic Party” 😱 - my dude, they tried to make Biden and Pelosi out to be socialists. There is no appeasing the haters. Just stand for something and let it ride.

I don't get how liberals on this site get all pissy about MSM headlines. They have far too much faith in the strength of these papers to dictate the national narrative. A normal reaction should be this dipshit got dealt the hand her vote gave her.

Sure, it's possible some are applying for jobs there. And many would jump at the chance to work! But there are only 1500 of them, and there are definitely more than 1500 Americans willing to do this stuff.

It's all a fucking show man, even the ones getting tossed around by feds are in on it. Every day my party makes it clear that they don't think the Trump administration is bad for the country no matter how much they try to fundraise off of it.

Now get the job done ATF, but not in restaurants, hotels or farms!

This is how he deals with his birthday party getting blown out by 5 million Americans protesting against his throughout the country. All he has is his base.

“I was shocked that they were mobilizing the amount of people that they were mobilizing," one National Guard officer told me. “It doesn’t make any sense to me why we would be activated in such large numbers against the citizens we’re sworn to protect."

In stark contrast to how I usually judge decisions by people of her rank, I feel like it’d be giving her the benefit of the doubt to assume she actually understood that or had bothered seeking advice from one the countless attorneys in her employ

Between electing people on their deathbed and staying alive after their election, but not showing up to key votes, the democrats suck!

Dude, I enjoy your posts but we can't really act like Hunter Thompson's journalistic home is on the same level as a network news department. Of course there's different standards that it's editors are going to allow.

That's what we need - a singer from a hardcore band to just troll these guys around and go fucking nuts whenever they try this public statement crap.

These #txlege pricks know exactly how the Texas economy, and an important piece of the Texas Miracle, functions.

Yeah, even though it's true.

This sounds more like an indictment of Kamala than it is for Trump. Ugh.

Blue states definitely fucked themselves (and us) in the housing calculation.
comment in response to post
It’s amazing watching people, in general, refuse to build housing where they live, refuse to update affordable housing that’s available. That then turns around and is either constantly befuddled or offended people live elsewhere.

Since I get most of my news through the radio, podcasts or reading, I actually never knew what this senator looked like (um, there's only 100 of them, so that shouldn't be hard). His name pretty much matches his look.

The difference, of course, is that their crazy old man could still win the election. The GOP had absolutely no incentive to turn their back on Trump. That dude ended up increasing his margins with every demo except seniors and college grads.

Right now it's nothing. I was a dem through my entire adult life up until the 2024 election. They completely failed us in that election, and our country will never be the same because of it. Why would I want to be a part of that club? If I sound like I hate them now, I do.

I feel for the former president & his family. Of course, when people were saying Biden was too old to run for re-election, being 86 at the end of a second term, they were warning of the risks to the presidency that come with aging.

Maybe you're right - maybe the dems will create their own media-sphere. Of course, they are still trying to figure out who a podcast is.

Now you sound like Trump and the republicans. Well done!
comment in response to post
Well it's all gone now. But at least you can feel he was the bestest president ever!

driving a Cybertruck makes you look like a world-class dickhead, your neighbors will flip you off and possibly even deface it, it's not really good at anything actually useful, and it's been recalled eight times already... but at least you also torch five bucks every time you drive a mile in one!

Yeah, but their mentally declining guy can still win elections. If dems flipped the table and reelected Biden with higher margins while taking house and senate, you wouldn't have to post this. Instead, the timing of Biden's exit in part brought fascism to american government.

He is too old.

What? This take assumes that the Post/Times/whatever media have the ability to influence segments of the public beyond upper class educated liberals. What Trump voters would have switched to Kamala if the NYT said Trump is a facist who if elected will bring this country to its knees?

And even then the bag of money with dollar signs on it can be explained away as a simple gratuity.

Ah, that "new model" where mr. genius describes the auto industry from generations & days gone by.

I think there's a big difference between having any dem in that seat instead of a republican and hating the senator because she is acting moderate.
